Whelp I was planning for Armored Trunks to be my first Figuarts DBZ but I stumbled on a SS Vegeta and Piccolo each for a decent price on Amazon and if they're still there for said prices I may have to pull the trigger on them both when my b-day creeps up in about a month and a half.

Get'um if they are around 45 or lower with shipping. Can't beat that deal. Once you buy one you'll want to buy more. Very addicting!

I think together they were like $79. And I found SS Goku for about $35. I hate being strapped for cash.

Cool looking set-up! I like the expression of that 'cat-god-thing' and Trunks. Trunks is reacting to the barrage of attacks while the other character seems barely interested. Obviously, that other character is insanely powerful lol Looking good, man!

I keep thinking if someone like you chose to do "scenes" with these figs they'd have a crazy amount to work with......with the pose-ability, different hands, faces, stages of transformation...
..and yeah Beerus (the cat god)IS THAT DUDE...
I'm going to make my "permanent" display have him even higher (thanks BM and Obitsu stands) and have god goku and gold freiza fighting at a level right below him..

I had to sell a few the other day, but am slowly recovering my losses. My heartbreaker was having to sell my 2015 SDCC Goku...oh well. His price has gone done a bit since it's release so it can be had for about 100-120 ish.

Me too, and from what I'm seeing, looks like they might have a Super Trunks head with it too.

Question for you guys cause I'm new to these SHFiguarts. What kind of trends do the prices of these action figures have after they are released? I'm trying to figure out if I can safely wait to buy trunks a month or two after release but I don't want to miss out if the price might jump up.

yes it does come with a Super Saiyan head..
but this trunks i wanted normal...I'll make the Armored trunks the super saiyan one in my collection..

and personally...i think you'll be fine waiting to get the figs..not judging from past trends...because some of those older figs are through the roof..but because i think the market is a "tad bit" more saturated with these since they are now releasing them in conjunction with the new anime...there is a store near me that has every release POST Android..uhhh...(the green one) in stock on the shelf at the release price.(or just SLIGHTLY over)

My kids used to have those figs...but I didn't care a thing about DBZ back then. So they got trashed..VERY UNLIKE their Transformers Beast Wars figs, which I have since acquired...heh-heh

Got my SSGSS Vegeta in today....Love me some DBZ but...meh@this figure. In-hand I'm very unexcited to now have it. But he will fit with the collection nicely.

Vegeta is very underwhelming. He seems a little too thin in the legs and arms and for some reason his non-SS head will not go on even though the pegs are the same. This figure was not worth the price when it didn't even come with any accessories. I also don't care for the glossy blue hair. They should have kept it with a matte finish like Goku.

On the other hand, Beerus is amazing. Although, he came with two gripping hands despite not having anything to grip. That makes no damn sense to me whatsoever. That aside, the yawning head is fantastic and I love how every pose I put him in looks awesome. Easily the best DBZ Figuart in a long time.

yup....but..in the show..when they go ssgss...they get a bit thinner and (maybe) younger. So it IS accurate...not that that helps it any.
Trunks should be ready to ship any day now..

Repainted Broly's hair but I may do it again. The color seems kinda off. Also found a spare Vegeta head in with a bunch of the junk I keep around so I figured what the hell and painted the hair blue. I like having multiple head options. Which leads to this.

I was hoping to use the heads off of these but they are way too big which kinda sucks. They're really sweet statue things though at least. Anybody know of some smaller Trunks heads that I could use instead? Needs to be about 4 inches I'd guess. Or a way to shrink those two down maybe?
