Are they really cancelling the line?

They have not said anything about cancelling the line, but with delays and everything people have begun to talk. NO word has come from Matty except that things were delayed. Everyone hopes to hear something from the Matty panel this weekend

I managed to get my order in today! I was refreshing constantly for the 10 minutes before... the sale went live at 9:01am PT by my watch... and I had my order confirmation while it was still 9:01am. No errors today, just a smooth quick experience before selling out 1-2 minutes later. Insane. So happy to have the kittens guaranteed and not at scalper prices. I don't understand making core team members a convention exclusive like that, but I'm incredibly happy they made them available online and not just a convention-only pickup!

Having spent 24 hours contemplating the merits of collecting vintage, the 2011 line, the 14" Mezco figures or making customs, I managed to get my order in as well!

Rumors have been spiking for a few months now that Mattel is shutting down MattyCollector after this year. That is one of the reasons people believe the Kittens were being sold as SDCC figures. The lack of a panel at SDCC for Matty, He-Man, or Thundercats is also not helping matters We'll known soon, but right now the outcome doesn't look good.

I just got WilyKit and WilyKat off Matty! Had good luck today! Yay!
