I'll give you that. It's a cool Predator but that face redesign is questionable at best. If I can get my hands on it I doubt I'll ever take the mask off.

I hope we get elisa as a cartoon version AND the toy version.

You mean that ugly blue outfit that came with a hang glider? I hope not. That outfit made no sense to me since she never wore that in the cartoon.

VashTS 10-25-2022 06:29 AM

Prey was pretty terrible. I am not sure people see it outside the smaller budget helping the atmosphere.

It is a masterpiece compared to the last predator film, but that isn't saying much.

Neca will make the main predator, and nothing else from it. I wouldn't mind some native figures but neca will just do the Predator.

IzzyTipsy 10-25-2022 07:09 AM

Macbeth? Nice. I hope we get a human Demona too.

kollekxon 10-25-2022 02:40 PM

I hope the overcoat doesnt limit poseability. Macbeth is a must for me.

I'll get Spaulding for sure. Haven't bought any Toony stuff since I sold the first few waves off a while ago. I'm an easy mark for anything Corpses or Rejects.

Dr Kain 10-26-2022 06:35 AM

You know, it just occurred to me that NECA did not give their Dracula figure a blood sucking head with his fangs showing. That's kind of lame.

Bela never had fangs. Christopher Lee was the first to popularize that on film.

I hope neca revisits the firefly family trilogy. I would LOVE an articulated baby. Sherri is an amazingly goregeous woman.

It was a toy thing that never was in the toon but i liked it plus itd make for a good generic female body for customizing.

Which doesn't make sense to me since he is supposed to be a vampire. It's just another thing Universal got wrong with that movie adaptation.

BB Shockwave 10-26-2022 05:20 PM

Niiiice. Hope Macbeth comes with lots of weapons.
I am kinda regretting buying Thailog now, since I suspect eventually they will do a S2 version of him with the cool armor and all.

Correct and I'll do you another. Bela Lugosi actually had a phobia of blood and it was said the very sight of it made him faint.

Comedian 10-26-2022 06:28 PM

London after midnight…..very cool. Wish I could see the film or know someone that did.

Yes, but nearly every other iteration of Lugosi's Dracula figure has included a head with fangs. NECA"s is the first one I've seen that doesn't do that.

I wish I could get excited, but I've never seen the movie, so I can't. Would be nice if I could.

I know when I spoke to Lon Channey Jr's grandson about 7 years ago he said he was trying to get the movie remade. He wanted them to keep it silent and in B&W using the same script, but obviously everything else would be redone.

No one after the 1960s has seen it.

That's the dream. Alas it is one of the greatest losses in the history of lost media.

I keep hoping that someone is going to come across a film print like what happened with Mystery of the Wax Museum.

ShabbyBlue 10-27-2022 06:54 AM

Very awesome that they are doing Chaney's London After Midnight character. Gives me hope that NECA is going to continue branching way beyond the most popular Universal Monsters figures for their horror line. Nosferatu would be another great one for them to do since I'm not impressed with the new Super 7 version.

Now if we could finally get some kind of tease of the Hammer Horror figures. The license was announced TWO years ago and STILL nothing shown from NECA. I think the last report was a tweet months ago saying they were finally sculpting some, so hopefully we get a tease before the end of this month.

That's a new one to me! Cool!
