Super7 Dungeons and Dragons ULTIMATES! Vecna and Vinyl Tiamat

Krydion 07-24-2024 05:43 PM

Tiamat

Looking awesome in my humble opinion

Jason Abbadon 07-25-2024 08:57 AM

Looks great overall but $300 is very steep for a hollow vinyl figure.
Kinda sucks that the mouths on each head are static. It would have been sooo much better with jaw articulation.

Are the four flanking dragon heads bendy? They appear to be- though I don't see the telltale air holes on the necks like the original TSR toy had.

I want this for 1:18 but not for $3/)

Tracer 07-25-2024 09:44 AM

That price is nuts but that's super7 for ya.

deecee4 07-25-2024 09:48 AM

EE messed up Tiamat's preorder yesterday and the preorder was $85 for like an hour lol. It'll be interesting to see if they honor that but, we'll see.

Synth 07-27-2024 11:02 AM

Tiamat in 6"/7" scale is a must have for me and will be amazing next to the Hasbro releases!
It is such an iconic beast of all 80s animation imho.
That $300 price is however pure insanity...
(I'm hoping for an eventual clearance around $200)

Smasher 07-30-2024 04:43 PM

I'll keep an eye out for a sale on that Tiamat, but I can't imagine it will ever get to a price point I can live with.

That $85 would have been nice...

How come reactions are the only form factor that get the black & white war paint?

firmpulse 09-06-2024 07:33 AM

POs on Lion-O sold in like 3 minutes.

Harbinger 09-06-2024 07:49 AM

So can s7s keatonmobile hold mcfarlane scaled figs.?

Because they sell and dont cost as much to produce. Theyve released over 1,500 figures and counting since 2016, so that’s their bread and butter.

Definitely the Spinmaster figure, they've only made Keaton's Return's outfit so far. Oooops i forgot about Keaton's Flash movie outdit too but that's an alternate universe 89 Batman, not the original.

I wasnt questioning the validity of reactions and their place among Super 7's overall output. But yeah, i guess its possible they could afford the extra deco hit for these reactions. Assuming they're not just going to cast most of the figure in that off-white but, i guess Ill know for sure when i get them.

Super7 Godzilla Day 2024 Reveals and Releases

https://www.toyark.com/wp-content/up...a-Day-2024.jpg

Smasher 11-04-2024 12:51 PM

I like the ReAction Godzilla line, I can't see anything "Ultimate" about their Godzilla Ultimates though.

I applaud them for doing Spacegodzilla, yet question why they decided to illustrate its lack of articulation by showing him dragging his leg behind him like Trump has been doing recently.

Wait a minute.
Spacegodzilla has a "blue suit" and "red tie".
Maybe its deliberate?

pikajew 11-04-2024 09:29 PM

Love the colors on spacegodzilla but the base figure had such a bad face sculpt I'm hoping that the product shots of him as as good in hand

an99 11-19-2024 05:51 PM

Are these new Thundercats figures supposed to resemble the old Remco figures?

HudsonBee 11-19-2024 10:28 PM

I get that the motu fig look is the reasoning, but why would someone drop 30 a fig when they can't even be bothered to give em ELBOWS?

Solrac333 11-20-2024 07:06 AM

$30 for those figure is just crazy. So done with Super 7.

Thats pretty much the price point & POA for most companies (not Mattel) offering this form factor.

I think more damaging might be the timing of these....we're about 6 years removed from those underwhelming Funko Savage World figures that people still remember for having severe QC issues. The Origins crossover thundercats figures will be coming out sometime next year. And they just started with "deluxe" Thundercats that are stripped down 7 inch Ultimates that are only $5 more than these. Kind of an odd move for Super7 imo...i think o-ring thundercats would've been better received.

Yeah, I agree, on all counts. I think that the MOTU crossover figures will scratch my itch for Thundercats like this, with better articulation and quality control, for $10.00 less. $20.00 o-ring Thundercats would be more interesting, and feel like a better value.

Comedian 11-20-2024 06:58 PM

Any word on the thundercats lair shipping yet? I saw an interview with Brian a couple of months ago where he said it was coming before Christmas .
