Can someone explain to me in detail how the Recent Activity % works. It seemed like I was at 99.6% FOREVER then all of a sudden I went down to 99.4 today.

I've got no idea. Sometimes I'm at 100%, sometimes I'm at 99.9%. I'm not worried about this anymore. I don't think it affects anything.

The Recent Activity makes no sense to me, either. Mine goes up when I'm less active, and drops when I'm more active.
The day it went live, I was over 50%. The next day, since the place was so active, I was posting all over the place. More active than I'd ever been. Following that spree, I dropped down to almost 40%.
Now, it seels the slower I post, the faster and higher it climbs.

As long as I win a prize, I can't complain. I'm on here hours a day every day, would be nice to win... something.

I'm going to post in here asking why Im not number one when I've been trying my damn hardest to post on every single thread and post millions of a time a day to be first and win that Masterworks Sentinel!

This is what happens to me. The more I post or navigate through the site, the lower my activity level falls. I login and read/post about 3 times a day and I am down all the way to 5%. What gives?

It's a silly contest that none of us should worry about. I miss the old ways, those where the days..

I could care less, I got third place but was an active poster before this silly contest. I can guarantee that those that got 1st and 2nd place werent active posters before this contest was announced.

I agree Tiberius, at least your still an active poster along with Optimus and Ludo who are also awesome members. And that guy that claims to be your brother.... :)

The prizes I get is looking at everyones awsome pictures, scores, customs, ect. Hooking up Arkers with shit they can't find, and getting hooked up with stuff I have trouble finding. Don't get me wrong, winning a sentinel would be epic, but I don't think its worth going crazy over and posting like a machine, even though I have been posting like a machine lately.

Yep, spot on right there. Im just not a fan of those that come on for the sole purpose to win a prize and win said prize by having a lot of posts that have nothing to do with the topics being discussed in the thread or even just getting post points by saying nice, cool, great, blah.

this is why the contest is a bad idea imo,I mean who is anyone to dictate or judge someone else's post as valid or not?its a toy site to talk toys,if someone posts a custom and I think its cool,I post "thats cool",I should not have to validate it with a small thesis on why I think its cool,its just cool.

When someone is posting invalid comments that have nothing to do in different threads and at the same time throwing in comments like, cool, great and they hadnt appeared before the contest started, then it kinda makes you wonder.

I joined this site to keep in touch with new toy releases, keepy my checklist up to date, check out some awesome custom and diorama pics. Plus find toys for myself and other arkers, and chat with some cool like-minded people who are "adults". Prizes adds a lot of good and bad to already awesome site.

The good points: gives people more reason to be on the site
pushes people to make more customs, take better pictures, debate more and with points not just it's stupid or that's cool. I do some custom pieces and artwork from time to time, it's nice to get a critique and have valid input even if it is negative, as long as it's not hurtful.

Negatives: nonsence threads,posts, topics, all to win some plastic crack, and not to actually benifit the rest of the community. The worst aspect is the haters, for every person that comes first or gets a prize there's definatley a few arkers hating. and this should be a site that's all for the love of plastic, free swag should just be a bonus.

And the award for sappiest speech goes to lol...

I would love to win the sentinel mainly because I can't get it locally. But I'd be happy with winning a prize here or there, doesn't have to be every month or every contest.

Sure bud, whatever you say. I am simply stating the facts here and im not the only one with my point of view. Was your post really necessary of who cares? If I have something to say then im going to say it as its an open forum to however board members feel. Im here to talk about our hobbies and have a discussion about that. Not have a board clogged with posts of nonsense that are simply there to win a prize. Carry on doomtron.
