Just watched the episode. Oh boy oh boy...I really want more toys now.

I like the direction so far. It's pretty gutsy in terms of how they went about it.

Five years? Looks more like 10 to me in the clips. Can't wait to watch it though.

I thought it was Tim Curry too...if it is his voice, he was voicing G Gordon Godfrey (probably more well known as Glorious Godfrey)...

i actually didnt like this episode can some explain like whats going on ?? i know have been seeing the other episodes but it makes no sense i dont which characters is who ?? i.e was the robin orginal with young justice team season 1+2 tim or dick ? and poor superboy has been dumped by miss martian shamefully :L really want to know what happened

Season 1 is Dick Grayson who grows and moves on to donning a new name & costume as "NIGHTWING"

Now in Season 2, the new Robin is Tim Drake. They way he's treated kind of alludes to there having been another Robin during the 5 year gap. That's up in the air for speculation. Otherwise, just know that current Robin using bo staff is Tim Drake.

I hope they explain what happened between Connor & M'gann. Watching the episode again you can tell he was irked upon seeing her and Lagoon Boy together.

I don't know much about Lagoon Boy. What's up with the hulking out stuff?

not reading DC doesnt help with me some of these characters. ive never heard of lagoon boy. and seeig blue beetle reminded me of how much i missed brave and the bold, a superior cartoon.

All I know about Lagoon Boy is that he was part of Titans East and...that's about the extent of my knowledge on the character. Could wiki him I guess but, don't really care to since I really have no interest in knowing more about him at the moment.

I think that has to do with his puffer fish powers :D not making this up at all

...i think its ok to talk about the episode now! They are spoilers, so stop reading if you still havent seen the premiere for Young Justice Invasion...

01. Zatanna and Rocket are Justice League members now...Black Lightning is also a new member and there should be two more because Zatanna and Rocket are members 25 and 26 respectively. Red Arrow was 21. So that leaves 22, 23, and 24 unknown. One of those is probably Black Lightning. So there's two more new League members. (Here's hoping for Vixen and Doctor Light/Fire, or maybe it could be Kid Flash or Aqualad, Artemis?) Nightwing, Superboy, and Miss Martian all have invitation to join, but they have declined.

02. Lagoon Boy and Miss Martian are a couple now. Probably to make way for Connor and Cassie.

03. The missing 16 hours is now known, they were causing trouble throughout space and are now wanted criminals. The justice league therefore cannot travel through space unless they want to cause an intergalactic incident.

The new team:

Cassie, Batgirl, Lagoon Boy - awesome, awesome, awesome

Blue Beetle - I thought it was hilarious when Blue Beetle was talking to himself, they should probably explain that for people who might not know why though.

Mal Duncan (Vox/Herald) and Bumblebee - need more development, as do all do, but right now these two seem like the forgettable members.

Beast Boy - im not sure what to think of his souvenir obsession...i think its cute that he sorta inherited that from Kid Flash and is now carrying on the tradition...but i will be mad if Wally is gone.

Which brings me to my next point.. Aqualad, Red Arrow, Kid Flash, and Artemis? i have my theories, but nothings for sure...

and finally 16, what's with the number 16???

For Blue Beetle, I think that's part of the joke that it's not explained why he's having a conversation with no one. 'cause it didn't seem like Robin and Lagoonboy understood what was going on, either.
So explination wil come in due time.

As for Wally, he may be Flash, by now.

Sadly, I'm guessing Wally has moved on but that doesn't mean we won't see him again. Or even Impulse. The addition of Batgirl was unexpected but cool. I never liked when they put her in that wheelchair.

That's coming in season three.


I hate puffer green just as much as rocket the wonder nobody now, so I guess that's a plus. The voice actors are really hit and miss on this show.

I'm just glad Tim Drake gets another shot at being in some sort of animated show/movie.

Am I the only one who would find it weird if Cass & Conner got together? I still feel that he has lingering feelings for M'gann.

I may not like Barbara as my fave Batgirl, but I'm glad that she did join the team. For all those years I always wondered why she never got a chance. I mean...she is in their age group and all.

So far I still don't care much for Lagoon Boy.

Tim drake? I'm waiting for Jason Todd! I'd only seen him in Teen Titans before this!

Lagoon boy dies, or sacrifices himself for the team. I'm calling it now.

The cast shake-up is going to take some getting used to. I think I would have preferred a major shakeup like this at the start of season three. I felt we had just really started to get to know the cast we had.
Add a few more characters, and set up a few more for the following season.
But we'd done all this character building in the first season, and now we're onto new characters with a new dynamic. Would have been nice to enjoy seeing how the previous developments had evolved, first.

I still don't understand the Rocket hate. She hasn't done anything worth hating her for. Of course, she also hasn't done anything that makes her exceptionally likable. She just hasn't done anything. I guess I'm just more neutral when it comes to new characters, until they earn my like, or hate.
But, I don't particularly like Lagoon Boy yet. I think I'd have rather Aquagirl, or Beast Boy to fill his "Aquatic character" role. Or use Kid Devil if they wanted another "Freak."

Speaking of voice actors did they change who plays Miss Martian or is just them changing her tone?



I think it's cause she just showed up and now she's on the Justice League all of a sudden. Yes, it's five years in the show but it feels like she just walked in. At least Zatanna got a few episodes around her. I know the others got the offer but it just feels weird to me, not that I'm saying I hate her.

I don't think Kid Devil would fly too well with parents. Though that would have been a much cooler character to see than say when compared to Lagoon Boy.

Yeah, M'gann's voice did seem a bit more mature I guess. At least I'd say a change in tone.

Wasn't Rocket already considered for League status when they reviewing who to induct during season 1?! I don't find it too far fetched that she's a League member now.

Sounded exactly like the same actress to me. Think she changed her tone to make her sound older. But she would sound like that through season one, anytime she got truely serious.

Well, I've seen people who say they hate Rocket, also say they think Icon is pretty cool. Even on this board, in this thread, in the same posts. And he was inducted into the league the same episode he showed up, and has literally done nothing. I don't even remember if he fought in the season finale, and that was only a week ago.
Also, just as obscure a and less memorable character (And IMO a less memorable, but I admit that's strictly an opinion) than Rocket.
But like I said, I'm usually willing to give things a chance before I decide I don't like them. I didn't decide I hate Miko until at least half way into season 1 of TF Prime, when most people decided she was the most dispicable thing in the franchise as soon as they saw her concept art months before the show ever aired.
I admit, I just have a hard time understanding that kind of mentality.
