No worries, I was at the Mira Mesa and Balboa today, and no new wave there. I'm wondering if this the Toy r us in west chula vista or TRU in La Mesa?

No, his pic is from a Target. All the TRU Racks in SD look the same and this isn't a TRU in SD. Plus I was at the TRU off of Jackson Drive (which is the La Mesa/Grossmont one you referred to) and nothing there.

My steve rogers broke at the arm today. How weak. Now, I can't find another one. I saw him a good 3-4 times too. Shit.

I have everyone but Steve Rogers. I hope the one I do find doesn't break.

I bought him last night. Mainly because I haven't bought a toy in weeks and he was new, but he is pretty cool. I think the paint apps being very good on him (which I'd agree with you on that--mine looks good at least) have a lot to do with him being pretty much naked. A large majority of him has no real paint lines to screw up. Overall I'd say it's a pretty solid figure with the full MU articulation treatment, and I got one with the Rex stand, so that's like a little bonus.

I don't know much about Namor,.. I'm assuming he can fly or something since he has wings on his feet. lol

i've had mine for a little over a week and he is fine. different pose every few days

I got my BBTS order on Monday and it is awesome. These figures are very nicely made with the exception of X-23's silver stripe down her leg being abig sloppy (I can remedy with black paint but still).
X-23 looks great...the new upper arm is a bit thin for my liking though. Nice to have swivel arms and legs though.

Namor is the suprise in this wave- I'm amazed at just how great this looks! SUCH an improvment over the first Namor release!

Darkhawk is excellent...if slightly too small, buildwise. I may get another to make Gyre or another of the evil Raptors.

Steve Rogers is excellent. I had bought one at retail for his head (on my Cap body and looking perect) so now I have a second handgun- giving him a sorta
John Woo" look that rocks and is completely out of character.

Ultron is...allright.
Like the green paint, hate that they did not tweak the body some for a new version of Ultron...

....Angered with the "surface world" yet again, Namor the Sub-Mariner declares war on all who would walk above his seas...can Commander Rogers stop him in time?!?...

I found Darkhawk, X-23, Namor and Ultron at a couple of Targets and 1 TRU in Pleasant Hill and San Ramon, CA. but no Steve Rogers yet. One thing I have noticed is that in both stores the figures did not come up in the system so they had to type it in manually as merchandise or something. Just an FYI.

As for the topic of this thread, I've only been able to find the remnants of the Dr. Doom/Falcon wave. I hopefully will be able to snag an X-23 and Darkhawk someday.

It just sucks that your Target has TRU prices. I hate to see your TRU prices. Are you sure that pic wasn't taken at TRU??? It has the TRU price tags.

Oops I didn't realize that I didn't put the location I took that pic but it is at a TRU and for the locals its the one in Escondido

you can tell its TRU cause it has the X-Men First Class 2packs. While those dont say they are TRU exclusives, TRU is the only place to stock them.

I was thinking the same thing at first. But I could have sworn I have seen these at a Wal-Mart near me.

I figured it was a TRU because of the price and tag...Scored on a set of each figure at the Kearny Mesa store today. Left x23, namor, and darkhawk for you. Also check mira Mesa target. They have 44 (not sure which ones) in stock!

Haha, nice. I picked up X-23 only because I already have Namor from this wave and left Darkhawk (not a fan). And I just saw that you left them for me. I appreciate it.

And that Escondido TRU pic with the full pegs threw me off because I'm used to seeing the cupboard up above where they usually put extra items. I wasn't about to drive the hour to and from to Escondido to get these anyway. Good to see this wave is around more though.

I've got an extra body of that if you need it. I took his head (Highlander style!) for my Unmasked Cap.

I'm keeping his handgun though.

Good gawd. Where is that? Atlantis? I still haven't seen a Dr. Strange or Baby Hope Cable yet. LOL.
