Passed on all of MU Series 4, Wave 1 (aka MU Wave 17). Except of course for Psylocke as someone beat me to it. Also passed on two PRiD Cliffjumpers, one PRiD Wheeljack, and the first wave of Cyberverse Commanders.

Jason Abbadon 05-11-2012 02:08 PM

I passed on Iceman but now regret it after larning that 90% alcohol would remove that dippy "X" on him...and after seeing (when I got home) how short the XMO fig I have is!

FrankCastle 05-11-2012 02:15 PM

I will check my Dollar General today for you guys

Surprise that you're passing those TFP figures up...thought you were a major collector :)

Does it come off smoothly? I might pick up an extra and try that out.

quipp209 05-11-2012 10:45 PM

I passed up superboy n sportsmaster from the young justice line and they were on clearance for $14.96 I might go get them tomorrow there were 6 of each (Target)

So major, in fact, that I already have them all. ;)

Dont know about that silver, but the red DD logo on Shadowland daredevil came right off with no damage to the fig at all

only thing I would be worried about is if it took the frosted coat off too.

I've had an extra Iceman I was gonna do the exact same thing with. Haven't gotten around to it being a lazy bastard and all. I didn't notice he was frosted before either, so it might not look that great when finished.

D00MTR0N 05-14-2012 10:39 AM

nothing, there is nothing to pass up anymore, stores stopped carrying action figures it seems.

jaybird7072 05-14-2012 10:45 AM

did see some of the new vintage star wars figs but not the ones i want :( at least there showing up at walmart now... and the new clone wars figs..

BigHanksCustoms 05-14-2012 10:48 AM

Finally saw the Thanos/Adam Warlock comic pack at Target yesterday, but alas, I only had 12 bucks on me. Damn.

miketime 05-14-2012 10:57 AM

I passed up DC Infinate Heroes Doomsday 6 pack for $20. I just didn'y need any of those figs. I have a better Doomsday and the battle damaged Sups was not worth it. I also passed up on the $17.99 MU light up base Avengers figs. I like the clear red IM and Black Widow but I'm not spending that kind of cash on a single fig. I aslo had ny K-Mart restock an old DC wave with Superboy, Wonder Girl, & Cheetah. I picked up the Negative man variant. Cap 3 pks were on sale for $15 instead of $20. Lots of Psylocks Doc Samsons out there. As well as G.I Joe Remegades CC. First time i've been out in a while.

P.S if anyone finds those Dollar General Joes, I would love to buy them off ya. I do not have any Dollar Generals in a 30 mile radius. I would like at least one of all 6 of them with multiples of the Duke and Blk Cobra trouper.

I'll be doing a DollarG run tomorrow, I'll keep you in mind.

Also, which is the variant o n Negative man? The Tuesday Morning near me has one for $7.99. It's the one with a skull like face I believe.

Thanks for looking for me. Yes the Neg-Man variant has his face exposed. It's cool you can see his skull under his face. For that price I'd say grab it. I thought my $10 price was good.

trebleshot 05-15-2012 08:46 AM

Once again passed up on All-Star Hal Jordan. Still can't seem to justify in my head paying $16 for him. Although, based on the way prices have been sporadically increasing around me (but just catching up to elsewhere in the country), $16 isn't going to mean that much anymore.

bmorr 05-18-2012 11:12 AM

Im still trying to get my new cellphone to able to connect to my computer, but I took some pics of the prices(before taxes )that I just saw at my local target today. DISGUSTING!!!!

Transformers Deluxes-----$ 14.50
Vintage Star Wars --------$10.09

What is this, Canada lol.

Were they TF's Prime figures? They actually vary at different Target stores, I've seen one in my area drop it to 12.89 when it was 12.99 and as well shot up to 14.19, which is absurd what's with the nickel and dimes here?

DHeezy81 05-18-2012 12:28 PM

The Prime Deluxe are 12.89 at my local Target too. So I had to go back and snag Cliff Jumper today.

I just saw DOTM deluxe toys (Barricade and the first version of Ratchet) at a Target that were priced at $16.89. TF Prime deluxes, OTOH, were still $12.99. Class I Star Wars TFs are now $9.89 each. smh.

What's even funnier is the Walmart near my work can't even give away DOTM deluxes at $8 each, but Target wants twice as much.

Exodus 05-18-2012 02:16 PM

Passed up Ratchet bot shot, as cute as they are, prefer the Cyberverse figures. The Botshots aren't part of the Prime line are they?

It's nuts up here. I even went to TRU because they have a 30% off sale on all Transformers figures, excluding clearance. I get in there and there is a "correction" notice saying it doesn't apply to the $16.99 deluxe figures which if was vast majority of the Transformers stock! WTH. I always wait for the sales cause it makes them like $11.
