Always kinds of irks me when the pound price is the same numerical value as the dollars price. I mean, I guess there's factors with tax and import and bla blah. $299.99 is (currently) £249.38. So for those reasons and such UK folk got to pay the extra £50 on the advertised US price. Or something. I just like it when I've somehow bought stuff online cheaper from the US (including shipping costs) than the price it costs to simply buy it here in the UK. Of course if everyone did that then the retailers would probably pull out of the UK market then... I dunno. Annoying thing is I don't even want the tank that much, I just think that's a sweet Cobra Commander figure. lol

No argument here. I also expected Cobra Commander would most likely be the final stretch goal. I am not going to argue about another figure within the set and many are happy with the reveal which is great for the community. More value for the price is never a problem for me even if the figure is not high on my want list.

I was fully expecting that last reveal to be a battle armor cobra commander.

I hope the Battle Armor CC is a regular retail release... that's the only Classified CC that I plan on buying. I skipped the 25th version, but always liked the look of CC in his Battle Armor from the cartoon.

The Battle Armored version isn't Cobra Commander though, it's Fred. :)

Boil water in a kettle. Pour the water into a coffee mug then soak the figure upside down in the mug for exactly one minute. Any less and the plastic does not open up enough. Any longer does nothing extra.

I've done this hundreds of time. Your figure will be fine. It this doesn't work then your figure is fucked.

Funny enough, I don't come across the regular troopers like I do with the AVs and BATs. All of those were bought online. AVs and BATS I had to limit myself due to how many I kept finding in a store for a while.

Thankfully, my army builders for Cobra are only the troopers/officers, Alley Vipers, BATs, Vipers, and Crimson Guards, so I'm pretty much set. I'm sure Hasbro will try to entice me to get Snow Serpents and Eels when they show them off, but I'm going to have to be strong because they just don't have a place in my collection.

Finally was able to order storm shadow and croc master at dorkside! Now I have to figure out where I'm going to make room for them...might actually have to start putting some figures away for a change.

I am keenly aware of and sympathize with the space limitations. All of my recent additions are immediately joining other figures in boxes and are bound for my storage locker while I attempt to bring some semblance of order to the chaos of my apartment.

Well I managed to pick up 3 new detolfs last night at IKEA. The bastards upped the price to $100 a piece though, otherwise I would have grabbed 4 of them. Can't wait until we get to our new apartment so I can set everything up again. Now GI Joe will have its own case, two shelves for Joes, two for Cobra.

Yeah, space is ever the issue. I build all of my own shelving, which puts a hard limit on each line I collect. I know how approximately many figures from a line I'll have before I really even get all that deep into it- Classified will top out out 102ish + the Haslab and it's crew. I can't bring myself to store things, so I'm approaching the finish line with o-ring, Legends, and vintage TMNT. This means Classified will soon be the only line I collect, and with the disposable income freed up from other lines, if this year is any good for the line, I'll be done collecting pretty soon. It's a bit surreal, actually- I've collected in some shape or form for 22 years now. I'm either going to have to find something else to waste money on or finally bite the bullet and buy a house.

Best of luck if you dive into house hunting. The market here was horrible before COVID and has only worsened since. I have been searching since December of 2020 and have lost around 30 offers thus far.

Yep. My wife and I tried to get a house over the summer, but it wasn't happening. We didn't get a loan approved for a high enough rate to buy something somewhere that wasn't in a poor neighborhood 2 hours away from where we work on top of something that matched the cost. There were houses that were as big as our current apartment we're moving from due to how much we have outgrown it, but home owners wante $450K for those, if not more.

Oh, I know, but the current market isn't sustainable. It's bound to come crashing down at some point, and hopefully I'm in the position to strike... like a Cobra ;)

Funny you mention 3d printing, actually. I've spent the past couple of months learning to model (no interest in printing others' work), and researching resin printers/materials, etc. I'm one of those project/art guys, so naturally, I've been chomping at the bit to dig into 3d printing for ages.
