Club Filmation does not start until July 2013. So Snake Face is it for MOTUC this month.

This I don't understand. They basically gave us a "blank" Sorceress here. I thought for sure people would buy them all up to repaint versus paying an arm and a leg for the regular version.

This was my original plan but then I decided to trade my extra Teela for the official Sorceress. The mentality of collectors is usually to go apeshit for official figures even if a custom is superior.

I decided to tweak this custom a bit.

I had a spare She-Ra so I swapped their legs, giving Teela the thigh swivel

I found a good deal on Teela's gear from the great unrest pack, I added gold accents to the staff and the gold to the sword

From there came the snake armor, I gave it a dark wash then a dark red dry brush and I matched the eye color to the green on her belt and bracers. I didn't have the helmeted Teela head so I repainted the Capt Glenn head and cut a notch in the back of the armor to accommodate the ponytail

Just watched a Fisto go for around $100 on eBay UK... too rich for my blood. Dammit Mattel - stay consistent to the liars you are and start reissuing some of these figures!

I wonder why they are waiting until "late April" or early May to reveal the SDCC exclusives. I find it funny that the "lite" sub sales end on the 30th --- and the reveals will more than likely be shown after that. Hmmmm, Coincidence?

Agreed! I'm missing the 4 most expensive figures: Teela, Fisto, Sorceress and Shadow Weaver. I emailed Mattel last nite demanding that they re-release them lol.

That's the big 4, I can understand them not rereleasing shadow weaver, she was a sub exclusive, but the others, no excuse. Especially Fisto whom they didn't even produce enough of to cover all their subscriptions

I understand why Fisto and Shadow Weaver are expensive but what's the deal with the Sorceress and Teela? Teela got reissued a couple of times. Was Sorceress a short production run to?

Teela has never had a re-release. She has had a variant figure released named Battleground Teela. Sorceress was a quick sell out during the day of sale on Matty.

Also keep in mind, a lot of people got Sorceress in place of Fisto too
