Premium Collectables are getting such limited quantities of the SDCC exclusive so they going to be offering them via ballet draw system, here's hoping like hell I get lucky.

Just ordered the new X-Men wave and should have it in a few days. Some great pics in this thread of those figures. Mostly looking forward to Juggernaut and Deadpool.

The reason i posted thst was because i remembered hearing you saying your a fan of his, i also know a couple others are as well. Basically the way i've been reading it, Marvel plains on having more then 2 of each title come october. Example richard rider Nova and sam wilson, new iron man riri williams and infamous iron man doctor doom, and 2 thors jane foster thor and Odinson thor... while i felt they should have done something like this since the beginning. Let's see how it rolls. |

But in a year, Marvel will launch all new number 1's again and this whole thing won't matter. |
Thank you to the people who recommended Uncanny X-Men by Cullen Bunn. It is FANTASTIC! As much as I didn't want to retread on my promise to not read anything new by Marvel, it seems fitting to stick with this one book, it is after all the book that started it all for me in Marvel proper. And just one book isn't bad.
I read all nine issues yesterday. Bunn clearly has a grasp on something I long felt was missing from Marvel - continuity, and he has brought several characters forth that we haven't heard from in a while (to my knowledge.) To me it's literally been the best X-Men story/arc/run since Second Coming, excepting Remember's Uncanny X-Force and specifically the Dark Angel Saga. I remember thinking when I saw the promos that it was such an odd line up for UXM, more like X-Force, but you know what? It works, it's all a great line up but would be better if you removed Fantomex. So I just wanted say thanks for the recommends. And to tie this into Marvel Legends I really feel we need a Monet now so that we can make this team, she's the only one missing if you count by TB and Hasbro. Edit: My brain is not as awake as my fingers...typos occur. |

I've been campaigning for a Monet figure since her tenure in X-Factor. The Moonstone body was made for her! Also, yes, unfortunately Fantomex is in UXM... but that fight in #8 with Betsy was pretty spectacular, right? :D |

Yeah I want the Enchantress bad but I'm not paying $100 right at this moment (it's possible I may later on if I don't snag a set though.) But I'm not even sure they're completely reliable to be in hand. No way I'm paying $100 for something that, in my mind, may or may not even be stocked.
Now if they wanna show me this after the convention, when I know they've got it in hand for sure, then yes, then we'll talk. |
So is there anywhere online to order Wolverine at retail prices?

I'm hoping my LCS will get a couple sets in London, I only want the lady, Dreadknight, and Killgrave, but if the set is reasonable, I'll get it and sell the rest. |

Happy to pick you one up. |
@ariellagunas, I believe you asked for help regarding posting pictures a couple of days ago? If you still need some assistance, most of us utilise an image-hosting website, such as Photobucket or TinyPic!

Oh and, nice custom ideas! Can I ask who you're ordering them from, or are you making them yourself? Either way, you should definitely post pictures when they're complete. :) |
So far of the new stuff, I got:
Namor Captain America Sam Wilson Vision Kate Bishop Ashley Barton Ultimate Spider-man Black Panther MCU Scourge (yes, I caved in) Scarlet Witch MCU Electro Phoenix, And Kitty. Havok, Silk and Rogue are on their way. I still need to get Iceman, Hobgoblin, Deadpool, Wolverine, Eel, Wonder Man and Captain Britain, plus Enchantress, Purple Man and Dreadknight Had to clear two shelves so I can have two for X-men and two for Avengers. It's fun, updating your figures shelves. I only do it twice a year, since I have 11 cabinets filled with all sorts of different stuff. Such fun ( when I get the time). |

And I agree with you. Hellcat and Misty are must for old timer fans like me, but their legs are a nightmare to make them stand. Crap plastic. Thou I love that they wer made at all, but still no excuse. Also, trying to find a non-derpy eyed Misty, was hard. I have the impression that the new Rogue might also suffer from this. Still haven't got mine, but I'm praying my Rogue is not too bad.... Thanks again. |
Got Kitty today. Love her. Got her from Thailand, and it was quick etc.
Lockheed is super cute. Kitty's face is lovely, and I'm very happy with her. A lot of love went into this figure. I only wish, the ponytail was articulated, to add more flow, as the dragon goes on the right shoulder, it would be nice if the hair could flow in the opposite direction. But hey, she's one of my fav X-men, and I loved the old one, but that one had some several problems. This one, looks and feels lovely and worthy. |
And...I got also Phoenix.
My first reaction was disappointment. I wasn't hoping a lot, but she just felt as cheap, as Kitty felt expensive. I guess is the budget thing per wave. First, from the pictures I knew the hair was the same sculpt as the Jean Grey before, thou Phoenix has far bigger, luxurious hair that forms a stella. Second, she has wedges instead of heels, which she actually had in the Phoenix saga. Emma had heels (which were a pain) but most Phoenix collectors will place her floating. So the heels would not mind, for standing poses. Then the sash. I falls on her crotch. It's Hellcats basically. Phoenix sash never felt on her crotch. Ever. And most dissapointing of it all, it's the green. The character had shiny green almost lime. This figure has dirty emerald green. It looks, well, dirty and cheap. My figure had a chin tag, which my wonderful beautician got rid off. The pluses are that the hair has a lovely wash. The face looks a bit more evil, the neck joint is kind of strange, but then I realised it allows her for more posing, so that's great. Finally, she photographs well, with flash. And looks a lot mot stylised in the Phoenix effect from the Marvel Select Phoenix. So kind of bittersweet. But will look great on the background of my 80's X-men. |
