The store where I found this used to have a crap-ton of these but this is the last one. It's $19.99 I passed up on it, though. I already have the Hawkeye and I'm not paying $19.99 for a Falcon.

Close to $50 based on prices from other figures in the same size. These are imports so there's going to be a notable jump compared to American stuff.

Yep, I got the awesome Venom Snake revo mini and paid about $40. This will probably be more.

Hobby Link Japan is where I bought mine and it was about $40 counting shipping, but that is cheapest site to get them. If you go through bbts, you'll pay about 20% more. They have some troopers coming out soon and they are $24 each on Hobby Link. You can see some pics here:

Metal Gear Solid V RevolMini General Soldier Figure - The Toyark - News

As far as the picture I posted; the Revomini Ultron on the left, came together as one picture with the painted one; so I assumed they were the same; but the painted one is an SH arts figure (6 in I think) from the label on the left hand corner (just noticed).

Wings and harness are colored differently on the single carded falcon. A personal favorite.

That Falcons head & wings on a grey MTF body would be a pretty damn good MCU Falcon. Just saying. lol

For my Ironman & War Machine I paid something like $25-$30 each.

Sorry double post.

Perhaps a Captain America with a gunshot in the stomach, Uatu with his brains blown out missing his eyes, Ares torn in half, and a Gwen Stacy with a neck hinge so loose it doesn't stay up.

They already gave me a human torch with joints so loose that he has the pose ability of a corpse. I do wish they would give us "battle damaged" figures like every 90's line did. They could re-release everyone with torn costumes, cuts, and burses and I'd buy them all.

On the Hasbro "price point" gripe, I don't get why they don't make a collector focus division, run it more like NECCA or one of the other smaller specialty toy companies and put out high quality boxed 3.75" figures with unique and attractive box art, a shit load of accessories, alternate hands and heads and detailed bases even in some cases have alternate bodies (for different costumes, only produce like 12 figures a year (one a month) and make each one the definitive representation of that character. charge 70$, they make there money, and at the end of the day I'd rather buy one really good 70$ figure than 7 crappy 10$ figures. plus the regular price and release will help collectors budget and plan there purchases. possibly even do a online subscription based program (for US customers only of course can't let those UK guys have anything!)

I have see a lot of the single carded Falcon version at 5 Below stores. They have a bunch of the Cap movie figures for 5$ each.

The argument I've heard Stall make is that regardless of the fact that these figures are only 1/3 of the size of Legends, they still require an equivalent amount of tooling and paint costs. So in order to keep the price at a level the stores are willing to sell them at (around $10-$12 or so) they have to cut a TON of things like articulation and accessories to keep the costs at that level. Because otherwise we'd be spending $20 for a 3.75" figure, which I think none of us wants or is willing to do. Again, this is all from him (see his SDCC interview with ShartimusPrime and an interview at Marvelousnews).

Couple that with the fact that unlike Joe (which Hasbro owns), Hasbro has to pay a fee to use these characters, and we get the decline in the figures we've seen while the Legends keeps going up and up.

Quite frankly, I call (a certain amount of) bullsh!t on this. When Neitliech (or however his damn name was spelled) ran the DCUC for Mattel, he was first and foremost a MOTUC guy and it showed in his bias toward the lines. Stall is demonstrating the same attitudes here.

When Neitliech left Mattel and the DCUC line ended I was hoping I was done with that kind of bias. Obviously not.

When Hasbro announced they were developing this line, the possibilities seemed endless. I was excited, and I made the choice to jump in full-force. I sold my Legends figures (that wouldn't be useful at this scale) and embraced it. Now I feel like I've been betrayed, and I refuse to dance to their tune and go back to Legends. It would be far too costly to try to catch up at this point.

Was that interview with marvelous news from this years sdcc? I watched the one with shartimus this year and with the regular crew last year... Did the regular crew interview him this year? I couldn't find it.

kylactus 08-13-2015 08:15 PM

have you guys seen the infomercial for the UV reactive adhesive? I'm wondering how strong it is, because super glue just doesn't work on figures, it's too brittle, it gets everywhere, it takes forever to dry, and you can't use it on any joint you want to move ever again, this stuff looks like a promising alternative.

UrsaMagnus 08-13-2015 08:49 PM

I despise yellow paint with every fiber of my being. What should b a simple custom is going to look terrible in the end... all thanks to yellow paint. *grumbles*

MUfan97 08-13-2015 11:36 PM

I think they need to take their limited amount of articulation, and make it more functional, and have a rule that says that all highly acrobatic figures must have the old articulation, what do you guys think?

They most likely wouldn't do it, but I really like that idea.

It's funny, at the end of every bloody battle nowadays you can guarantee Spider-Mans mask will be ripped, Luke Cage will have his shirt hanging off of him in tatters, and Captain America will have hair poking through holes in his mask and scales missing on his top.
They really need better costumes
