So, after all of my bitching about 'em, I finally got to see the DC Multiverse figures in person and... they don't look so bad. The armored Batman still looks infinitely better than this one, despite being the same sculpt, but I've always wanted to have at least ONE normal-ish comic-style 3.75" Batman. The closest I've had until now was a pale grey Dark Knight Rises Baleman with minimal articulation.

The Marvel Legends Infinite series are finally trickling into my stores. All of the good stuff (ie: non-Steve Rogers toys) were picked clean from the CA line, but the whole Spidey wave was there except for one notable omission - Black Cat, of course. I picked up Carnage. I couldn't bring myself to buy Electro despite wanting to, it just looks so bland. Unless Jamie Fox wows me in the movie then I don't think I'll be buying the toy at all.

No new TMNT characters at all, but the new Submarine and these awesome Z-Line playsets showed up at my Target. Whoever designed these sets is a genius, because it is a ridiculously cool idea. Still trying to decide whether or not to open them, but I think they'll be perfect for adding some elevated displays to my huge 3.75" Superhero battle diorama.

Just got these today. Transformer MP01 Acid Storm and Sgt. Windrix (not shown). Went to Target and found the Spiderman wave finally. Peg had it at 14.99, when they rang me up they were charging me 19.99, but I hassled a bit, and got the 14.99 price! They of course...didn't have the Black Cat. Did have a Electro and Beetle (but I already have those) so I didn't bother. Might sell/trade the Carnage though since I think I do have an extra one lying around somewhere. The superior Spiderman was picked up because the lines on the head were very well painted. Not a bad day. Oh yeah also pre-ordered the X-men set from TRU for 90 bucks.

My NECA series 11 Predators were delivered over the weekend. I didn’t think I was going to go for these when I first saw pictures of them but after being able to physically see them I’m glad I added these guys into my Predator collection.

I wish that I’d been able to buy these in-store as opposed to buying them online as, not surprisingly, whoever packed the box at the Toys R Us distribution center did a thoroughly crappy job. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, USPS once again trashed the box while it was in their custody so it ultimately wound up being another marvelous performance by the idiots who work in the online shipping arena.

On a hunch went to Kmart today and found peg fulls of Spiderman and Cap Legends. Picked up these and when I got home Toxin was waiting for me. :)

Sweet haul there. Just curious, was the Toxin an ebay find, or did you pick him up in store? Also, since you have him in hand, do you think that the hands from the recent Sabertooth ML would fit him since they use the same mold? While I dig the figure, I really hate the oversized hands look on Toxin, and am considering picking up a junker figure to borrow parts for a slight mod and repaint.

Yes the Toxin was an ebay find. I am at work right now, but when I get home I will let you know. I think the Toxin's forearm is slightly longer than the Newer Puck Sabes. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but from my experience if they are in the same size scale and use the newer molds they should mate together just fine. Don't take my word for it yet though. Also if you are looking for a junker Sabertooth, Dorkside has them on ebay for like 9.99 or something like that. Haven't seen any cheaper.

Once you put Raypun together, he's epic. A lot is just looking at pictures and figuring it out as it comes with NO instructions.

Ok. So I compared the Sabretooth figure and the Toxin. The forearms definitely are different size in length, but at the end where the disc peg from the hand goes in they appear to be the same size. I couldn't take them out, they were both very tight. Probably will need to use a hair dryer or something like that to pull the hands off. Hope that helps.

After a long wait, they finally arrive here, got these two guys today, buy the rest of the wave the next week! so happy :)

Good deal and congrats! It really is a sweet line of figs. I know not a lot of people like the Electro fig...but I dig him quite a bit, and the Spidey is one of the best they've done in years. I love the articulation on him!

You've got that right. I've yet to spot the new wave in my area (actually ordered Casey from Amazon today just because I got impatient) but everything tends to show and eventually warm the pegs briefly, giving everyone a shot at them.

The only exception to this is the MOUSERS - I've NEVER seen them in stores yet, and that's a little frustrating because I've been very eager to get at least one set for a while now.

Still, Shredder 2.0 was looking to be rare too but even he seems to be peg warming around here.
