Went to a toy and comic show today. Check out the haul, yall!
http://i62.tinypic.com/jpam4n.jpg Believe it or not, that was the one and only AIM soldier anyone had there. Everyone else had Black Cats and Carnages and Zemos and Hydra's, but only one AIM soldier. and I got 'im for a decent price: Me: Hey, how much for your AIM Soldier? Seller:Hmmmm, do any other booths have one? Me:...No. (an odd question to ask, since I could've lied) Seller: Hows...30 bucks? Me: 25? Seller:28. Me:27. Seller. Deal! and so ends the most boring anecdote ever... :D Sorry Mysterio's helmet looks so wierd. I'm trying to dremel/crack/tear it of so I can put a comic-accurate helmet there. I also got this Spy-Dor for dirt cheap, but 1) one of his legs keeps popping out and 2) I dunno where to put him! I have all my basic MOTU guys in an IKEA Detolf. Ah well... http://i59.tinypic.com/2u8cx7a.jpg |

went to my local thrift store and found one of my grails. also bought a bin with a jungle fury megazord, 3 lord of the ring figs, 2 he-man figs, 1 he-man vehicle, 1 mask vehicle, 2 star wars figs, tf jetfire almost complete, starscream and skwarp bodies, omega supreme body and a few other things for $14.95. but my grail was a g1 tf fortress maximus missing only his 2 guns, one leg gun and the other robot he comes with. his head has seen better days but still in overall good condition. now the price, $4.95!!! walked out with a huge kool-aid smile!...

February haul
Of all of these, I'm probably the most excited about the Impala from Supernatural, lol! I have a love/hate relationship with the show, but the part of me that loves it is unreasonably excited :)
http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psmax4pgiv.jpg I spotted "Big Chap" at my local TrU, and I FINALLY bit the bullet and purchased my first NECA Alien. I have so many McFarlane Aliens, that the NECA ones just seemed superfluous, and I initially decided to pass on them. However, I'm just so excited about the announcement of Ripley and the Power Loader, that I'm contemplating buying even more of these, especially the Marines. http://i825.photobucket.com/albums/z...psnlcdof11.jpg In my area, only TrU has had this new TF Generations wave. Even the previous wave was tough to find. I only spotted those at TrU, a single Target, and a grocery store. With the movie toys on the horizon, I'm paranoid that these and any upcoming TF Generations waves are going to suffer the same fate as the "Reveal the Shield" series :( |

Soon, I moved onto Koto's Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden statues. Eventually, I moved onto the Bishoujo ones as well, since they have cool statues of SO many franchises that I like. These things look so great, and are far more affordable than so many other statues out there, that you too may find it hard to resist purchasing many many more Kotobukiya statues :) |

also.. technically the movie deluxes voyagers and leaders are considered generations figures.. so, i have no doubt the wave with ratrap will show up in stores before the street date of the movie figures. the new generations deluxe wave has been at target for a bit now and is starting to show up at TRU.. so they're readily available. walmart has been an absolute train wreck since before christmas.. it's truly awful. the only thing they order are TMNT figures.. and that's once in a blue moon. otherwise.. you're stuck with those shitty iron man 3 figures, the crappy man of steel toys, and the 5POA avengers and spiderman figures. for a company so greedy.. you'd think they'd actually want to stock their shelves to actually sell stuff.. oh well, their loss. |

I got my Thor The Dark World Steelbook today at Best Buy. Great artwork on the exterior, interior artwork wasn’t too bad. Thankfully the case itself wasn’t damaged.

My fellow ARKERS... what you're about to see is something that you probably have never seen before. I say this with confidence because the only way you would have seen this is if you work or used to work for Mattel.
Without revealing too much, the seller tells me that he worked for Mattel for 10 years. He was “directly involved” in the making of the DC Universe Classics waves 1 – 20. So much so that he had the only two (three because for 1 fig I have the only two) in existence figures that I’m about to reveal to you fresh out of the shipping box! We will never see DCUC the same as before! What was once a myth is now a reality… I give you the true "Holy Grail" of the DCUC Toy Line 1st, it is the Wave 6 Figure 4 Superman Variant! Different face & S Symbol. http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 And I have the only 2 ever made! http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393359907 Last but not least... The Holy Grail of Holy Grails! I'll give you a hint first... Guess anyone??? http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1393360484 |

Also, thanks to all the ARKERS that PM'd me. The question that I was asked the most was if you guys can use the pics of Superman and Red Tornado to post them on other sites. My answer is go ahead fellows! The more DC fans that know about these figs the better! |
