Well it was probably misunderstanding on both sides. I asked to buy Dark Ms. Marvel but did not elaborate on the costume. The seller even asked to confirm that the figure arrived safely which I confirmed (my friend, comic non-fan himself, reported that he got the figure and that it looked undamaged).

On the other hand all other figures (more than 20!) are top notch, so that is something to celebrate. :)

I think it wouldn't be too hard for him to google a picture of the Dark Ms. Marvel to double-check. YOU could even send him a pic in such a case.

Of course, in the hindsight I should have done that. My bad.

I wanted to post a pic of the new crane I got on clearance at TRU for $7!

Scale is off but the size makes it work IMO, also it is kinda finny that nearly all these figures came from the fodder bin

You magnificent bastard.

IcantBseriouS 08-19-2015 06:02 PM

Any friends have a spare Future Foundation White Spidey for cheap? lol. Maybe just his arms & legs? We really should get a fodder swap/sale thread going. I'd rather deal with my homies on here then anywhere else.

K Dub your custom Sadman is fodder? It has to be more stable then the flimsy bastard we got! Maybe just put the new arms on your custom. Freaking flimsy bastard w/ Osborne's head chaps my ass.

Why don't you just pick up the first appearance ms marvel and pop on the regular head? Save yourself some money and I won't tell anyone.

How does that guy look in scale with the MU figures? Says hes 5" tall.

Universe 08-19-2015 07:19 PM

He would be in scale; I bought a Terrax that I want to chop up, articulate, and black wash.

UrsaMagnus 08-19-2015 07:37 PM

The regular (i.e., Warbird) head is different from the Dark Avengers Ms. Marvel. Warbird has a closed mask and white eyes while Dark Ms. Marvel has an open mask and painted eyes. Their hair is different shades as well. I'm not saying it wouldn't work (I reversed the two in my collection), but better to know that going in.

Who makes that crane? Or what is it called?

Then dot the eyes like I did with Winter Soldier, and orange-wash the hair. Simple job that'll save you money.

That is exactly what I am planning to do. :)

I love this pic, it reminds me of the old Sega Spidey game...man that thing was IMPOSSIBLE.

Champion Pool will complete your original trio of Must Haves. What next after them? What will be the figure you are looking for?

I really don't know. I was thinking about solid Vision, but then I decided I don't want it. Maybe I'm gonna start to try and army build stuff, get some characters that aren't rare, but the one's that are essential. Like Baron Zemo, Doctor Doom, etc. Tigershark is also a good one.

What would you guys recommend?

Or maybe we should get a bunch of people together and rob @3233rafael xD

K Dubious 08-20-2015 10:17 AM

Yeah I'm happy with my solid Vision, but if I didn't have one I would just wait for the new one coming out. The old one has great paint and the original sturdy plastic, but the Daredevil buck just has strange proportions.

If you ask me I think that the Masters if Evil set is a really good thing to look for. It is one of the more obscure SDCC exclusives. I see the Taco Truck and Infinity Gaunlet pretty often at cons, but I never see the Masters of Evil set.

I would recommend looking for the whole box though. If you find a loose Tigershark he will likely cost the same as the entire set. I see him for $60-$70 on ebay. A local store has been where I found the majority of the rarest figures and for prices that still amaze me.

Frost Giant (New) - $30
Masters of Evil (New) - $50
Dark Ms. Marvel - $15
Black Suit Ms. Marvel - $10
Death's Head Archangel - $15
Baby Hope Cable - $10
Norman Osborn Iron Patriot - $7
Variant Havok - $15 (CyttoraksCousin got him)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the others, but I would have many holes in my collection if it weren't for these finds.
