Cool, I'll keep an eye out. Thanks!

Went to a Local convention on Saturday, and bar it being really poorly organised and taking nearly 4 hours to get in, we had a blast. Met Kenny Baker and picked a few things up. Was really hoping for some Arkham stuff to finish off bits but there was barely any.

If you find Daryl, make sure to inspect him. One of the three I found had his hairpiece glued on wrong - it made him look like he had a massive forehead and was wearing a bad toupee. I'm sure it could be removed and glued back on the right way, but you shouldn't have to make an effort to fix something you just bought. Quote:

Went to London last week with La Wife, and grabbed this Halo foe on clearance for 6£.
http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1394447828 I didn't play Halo4 yet, but he's gonna be a nice Ultron or HAMMER pet for a future MU display. I also got my Pit, at least! Missed him on clearance last january, but as I cried over it on Facebook a fan of my fan-made movie contacted me and bought me one for 35 bucks! http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1394447828 I'm a little bit disappointed since it's very flimsy, not on par with the old big Joes vehicles, but it's an amazing piece to display figs. |

http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1394484749 One can never have too many Warpath and Azrael figs in my opinion... http://www.toyark.com/attachment.php...1&d=1394484768 |
Some Captain America Winter Soldier figures have finally started showing up in my area. I bought this one at my local Target today:
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7ebbd6c0.jpg I took a few minutes to look over the 3.75 inch scale figures too. Some of the sculpts looked ok but those huge rocket launchers look horrible. I might get a Red Skull but the other figures look to be an easy pass. |

AWESOME!!! Thanks! I didn't see this pic! Okay, For LENT, I gave-up toy hunting (not sure if saying that will make it not happen...oh, wait, that's a wish when blowing-out birthday candles) but my MARDI GRAS figure I bought on AMAZON.com came a few days later (and it's cheaper with free shipping, about $12 instead of $15 at store) was the MASHER's HULK: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7377/1...d9a8a6e5_c.jpg But...I don't consider VIDEO GAMES to be in the same category, so if you see anything from me before Easter it will be Video Game stuff. |

After three Wal-Mart's and a Toysrus filled with nothing but WW2 Cap's and Marvel Now Cap's, I was about to call the hunt quits. Then I remembered this out-of-the-way Wal-Mart that usually had good stuff. Luckily, the fates were on my side. So glad I didn't give up!

Oh man, I found a total of 4 black widows and 4 buckys tonight at various walmarts. Hell yes. I'll be throwing one or two up on my trade list as soon as I get all my wants and haves sorted out.

My girlfriend and I got to get out of town this past weekends, here's what I picked up...
Picked up a bunch of accessories, as we found a seller who had a whole mess of weapons that were perfect for Marvel Legends scaled figures. Was able to pick up a couple of assault and sniper rifles, as well as some submachine guns, which ended up working out great for many of my figures... http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_140554.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_140001.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_135748.jpg Best of all...Crossbones finally has a set of weapons he can hold! (anyone who has this figure knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about!) http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_135835.jpg Was also able to score a couple of good deals on some loose figs, Extreme Rogue Variant and Robocop 1.0! http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...309_200433.jpg Came home from work to find these waiting for me... http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...310_162905.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...310_201533.jpg |
After seeing how excited I was about yesterday's Godzilla discovery, my girlfriend surprised me with the who else but the King of Monsters himself. Today was indeed a good day. =P
http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...310_200706.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...310_213724.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...213004_LLS.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...213610_LLS.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...213313_LLS.jpg Sorry Transformers fans, but I couldn't resist... http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...310_211447.jpg A couple of notes about Zilla, I have to wonder if they had more things planned for this guy originally. There is a spot on the back end (where you attach his tail) that looks like there was once a battery compartment, and on the front end of him, there are four or five slits in his belly, making me wonder if they planned for him to have motion sensors, or some kind of roaring sound. He has no electronics though within him. I'm thinking that it's quite possible the same mold from the smaller electronic figures was used for this guy, just in a more massive scale, hence why there's the unused kibble. It doesn't detract from the figure in any way, which is actually nicely painted and washed. My camera phone doesn't do him justice. Also, while he wasn't broken, sadly, my Zilla had a missing screw near the base end of his torso, which caused him to split open slightly where his tail attaches. I was easily able to replace it with a similar sized screw I had lying around the house, so it might be a good idea to inspect him as best as you can when running into him in the wild before purchase, or before playing with him yourself or handing him off to your kids when you get him home. |
Dang, that Godzilla looks fun. I might have to get one to serve as Monster of the Week for my Joes.

I was browsing in my local Wal-Mart during lunch and ran across these items. Needless to say, I was shocked that I found them in my area after all this time, but I’m glad they’re finally starting to show up. If I find any more I'll drop them into my B/S/T list.
Marvel Legends Infinite Series Captain America Red Skull http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...ps709b3559.jpg Marvel Legends Infinite Series Amazing Spider Man Black Cat http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...ps76260fcf.jpg Marvel Legends Infinite Series Amazing Spider Man Carnage http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/...psd33d5fc9.jpg I also saw the new Amazing Spider Man 2 3.75 inch figures for the first time. That was the easiest pass yet on a figure line. And I also got a free Captain America Winter Soldier poster in the mail, compliments of the Disney movie reward program. |
That Godzilla is vicious!!!
Well folks, it's my annual WrestleMania time where I get into wrestling figs for a month or so...I always have my eye out but rarely pick WWE stuff up. Roman Reigns is an exception, since both him and the Shield are AWESOME!!! http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/...psejhv3d7a.jpg |
That Reigns figure could double as a G.I. Joe with the gear he's wearing.

Got my BBTS Pile of Loot from 2 months back. I'm a big time Star Trek Voyager fan so I'm glad to finally have a model of the ship. Also picked up some other figs from the AO series. Gotta say the Killer Croc is mighty impressive in size. Also included is a Spider Girl that was suppose to be a Black Cat (according to Amazon's listing) but got her instead. Not that I'm complaining but still...
