Crazy No way paying 119.00 for that, will be peg warming like crazy at Toys R Us. The old toy biz set is a lot better quality wise and is ALOT cheaper on ebay

Anyone else think that the Beast figure in that set is built on the Hyperion/WL Sabretooth body? Trying to ID it because I'm probably going to go the custom route for my own classic 5 X-men figures...

Also... kinda alarming that they pulled the set completely from their site as opposed to just doing a "no longer available for pre-order" type message. Hopefully it's for a cheaper price adjustment because they are straight scalping with that $120 tag.

It's a really frustrating day when you realize you can't afford to purchase something that belongs in your collection. I hope this is actually a temporary gouge and not the permanent price, but if it stays at $140, I have a feeling these may be available at the secondary market ie. discount stores, after they have sat on the TRU shelves for a year or so.

$28 per figure? Really? Does TRU think this is a reasonable price hike? I always thought that when you are saving on packaging that the costs would go down a bit, but they've raised the price twice in a week. Preorder sales must have been brisk to justify this.

Has anyone's Target had a confirmed restock of the Spidey Legends?

Also, Meijer stores are getting at least the Cap wave in, I saw remnants of two cases at my local one. They're only $15. Hope they get the Spidey wave in soon, but I am not holding my breath, the pegs just say "Legends Platinum series" with no differentiation between Cap or Spidey.

I passed by yesterday to two diff targets, a walmart & TRU and this is what I found....

Trgt: Midtown has the empty pegs for both Cap/SM plus there's a grey dot on the label (pics) which means that Trgt will not be getting any more, yet there is a huge price difference between cap & sm....?!? Hialeah has empty pegs as well but no grey dots. So I'm not so sure that Trgt in general will be getting any and I'm assuming that it will be sparse distribution depending on volume. Which doesn't make sense since Midtown is top five in region for sales....oh and please don't ask me who to talk to about what we get cuz even Mgnt doesn't know what we get on our trucks.

Wally: No sign of Cap nor SM but there is a peg for scarlet SM (pic) with Hope Summers keeping it warm......?!

TRU: Found two diferent boxes of WWII Cap but nothing on SM not even empty pegs...


All in all I'm keeping me eyes on evilbay cuz it seems this is where we're going to be able to find them with out going in missions.....shit sucks!!

Targets in Los Angeles have got the restock of Spidey legends but no cap legends. They changed the price of spidey to 19.99 and I'm guessing until they don't get cap legends they will be at 14.99 for now. I got superior spiderman and beetle but that's all.

Yeah that's crazy, I won't purchase this unless it's on a clearance price, even with the 20% coupons they give out it's still not worth getting it at 100.00 IMO.
HTS is another place you can keep your eye on as well, and thanks I didn't know what the Gray dots meant and dang that does suck cause that's what I've seen on at my Targets as well. Kind of crazy that they won't get any more in of these and yet the cheaper and smaller Spider-Man toys are peg warming. Maybe when the movie comes out they'll have more of the Legends out.

Looks like TRU has the new Spider-Man figures for 25 a piece, Target def beats them.
