Yeah ibet they wait till the thor movie comes out to release her in his Wave.

It has splits up the side and looks fairly and pliable, I'm more worried about a potential lack of normal forearms and hands.

Foster Thor and ANAD Wolverine, those are really the only two high profile female solo title characters without a figure that I can think of (barring costume changes like Spider-woman).

VonPooten 07-21-2016 09:17 AM

@lordbest Iron Fist will have alternate forearms w/hands, so it's not a stretch the same from Ms. Marvel.

Now you've reminded me that we need Anka's Spider-Woman redesign. That would be heavenly.

@Tim That would be a shame, considering we now have over half of the All-New, All-Different Avengers.

Surprised that they didn't slot Shocker into this wave, though, considering he got bumped from the Space Venom series.

I ain't gonna lie im estatic about this wave. i want them all except kamala... she'll on the bay mighty quick after i get the case.

thanks for the info...Not a character i'm familiar with at all...

and about Kamala....Now that (over the last month or so) i've caught up with the MU. I know who she is and think she's an okay character. AND..would like to have her as a figure. (who knows what her future holds) Had i not...i'd probably have been the same way about the figure.
I tried to do the same to get attached to space venom but..NOPE..however..i like the BAF now that i have him...and he can stay and live and play with his Legends buddies...

won't lie...i'm only on IG because about a year ago one of my female friends had my phone and installed it and showed me how it works...NOW...i LOVE IG...lot of good info and pics and thing on there..especially the toy community. Alas i too...have no "working" knowledge of twitter.

She'll likely have swappable hands/arms. Nico's getting a swappable arm, after all, and they don't want another perma-stretch Mr. Fantastic scenario, I'd wager.

And yeah, I'm hoping that, if the rumors are true about the upcoming X-Men and/or Wolverine waves, that we get a Laura Wolverine. She's listed in the Wolverine wave, but no clue if that'll be as Wolverine, or as X-23; meanwhile, there's a Wolverine listed in the X-wave, but no clue if it's Laura or some version of Logan.

But yeah, where's our 6" Jane Foster Thor?

See, people keep saying things like this, but where is this info coming from? Did Hasbro say they had to delay Shocker? Did they show his figure off? I don't remember seeing Shocker announced for the Space Venom wave.

I hope so, no reason to think she won't I'll just worry until I see them. Even if she doesn't have them it's still a great figure.

Yep I really like that costume, I don't know why people are so hostile to it and it made perfect sense given the story.

I think you're probably right, I've just been a bit surprised at the lack of accessories for female characters sometimes.

Ditto, especially since if it is another Logan it means two releases of the same character in consecutive waves which would be very disappointing. I've got nothing against an Old Man Logan figure, but I'd rather get a Laura figure first.

They produced a 3.75" version so they must have 3d files they can use for her, I was actually expecting her before Kamala.

Many rumored lists have been found in store computers, showing figures's names and upc codes. Such as this one, found months ago:

- SPD Symbiote Spider (UPC 630509490523)
- SPD Jackal (UPC 630509490530)
- SPD Ms Marvel (UPC 630509490547)
- SPD All New Spider M (UPC 630509490554)
- SPD Shocker (UPC 630509490561)
- SPD Green Goblin (UPC 630509490578)
- SPD Spider UK (UPC 630509491100)

I assumed it was because it first appeared right around the same time as the big hullabaloo over the redesigned Batgirl outfit (AKA The Batgirl of Burnside), and there were some design similarities that people were getting all nitpicky about, either with specific costume details or general aesthetic.

Also comic fans are grouchy and hate change :D

Well, again, if the rumored Wolvie wave is legit, the list has Old Man Logan on it for that, so hopefully that'll keep him from showing up elsewhere.

TheBlueMarvel 07-21-2016 09:36 AM

The more I see of the MCU Strange and that other disciple of the Ancient One, the more impressed I become...love that shield incantation (or whatever it's supposed to be)...I just hope it's a little bit more translucent than it seems from pics.

I'm liking those two...too...

TheBlueMarvel 07-21-2016 09:42 AM

I'm liking the sculpted tooling on Jackal's fur and raised detail of Spidey 2099's mask (not to mention forearm blades)....pleasant 'detail' oriented surprises.

I liked that redesign too, and I liked the old costume. Same with Spider-woman.

That definitely seems to be true.

I must have missed the rumoured Wolverine wave, the last I remember was the second X-Men wave with another Wolverine in it.

Panther 07-21-2016 09:46 AM

Love the MCU Strange and Mordo. I remember reading that we'd be getting another MCU Strange in his Astro form for this wave, and an Ancient One. I collect exclusively MCU and DCEU, so that would be wonderful.

TheBlueMarvel 07-21-2016 09:46 AM

Also...Briton Spidey and 2099 Spidey appear to be on a more heavily muscled mold than we have become accustomed to with Pizza Spidey...interesting.

That's Mordo?...ohhhhh, let the 'flaming' commence...;)

I really like the sculpt, but hopefully, a classic Mordo will emerge in fig form further down the line.

Yeaaah, I believe this to be the reason, too. Apparently two female characters can't wear biker gear in unison? It makes perfect sense for Jess, though, since she's always been a spy/private detective. World-ending superheroics is a bit out of her league..

Mm that's what I was thinking. The effect would look stellar, if it were made from a clearer plastic..

So do we think that's the entire wave (Iron Fist, Sister Grimm, comic Strange, movie Strange, movie Mordo, and Brother Voodoo), or are Enchantress/The Ancient One still lurking in the wings...

Edit: Yeah, man. Did you not know that Chiwetel is playing Mordo? Both sides of the fan spectrum are up in arms over this movie (black Mordo/white Ancient One). ;)

I kind of hope not. Comics!Mordo always reminded me of a more lame, magical Sinestro, at least visually. At least MCU Mordo looks more interesting (again, in my opinion).

I'm not sure I understand why you would 'hope not.' It's tantamount to me hoping you don't get something you want...kinda strange (pun), dude. It doesn't really affect you because you're being provided with a Mordo alternative...

You do realize that list shows all of the figures that were just showcased, right? More than a coincidence.

I'd like to think that Hasbro isn't throwing out all of the cards right now, and are holding back a few surprises for the panel.
