Bad wording on my part, ya nitpick :D I meant that I'm ambivalent and wouldn't really care if he made it to shelves or not.

Except that the source who first posted those UPC lists has a long track record of being accurate, within 90%-100%. So while it could be dumb luck, evidence points more to Hasbro changing around the character layout of the wave later in the production cycle than the list(s) have been leaked.

lol You should know, by now, how persnickety I am!! ;) Gimme my crazy costumed classic Ditko Mordo, dammit!...you and I are supposed to vibe on that!...I hear you, though. I don't get Sinestro from Mordo, tho'...more Krona! :p Nit my pick!!

What can I say, I've got enough Evil Beardy Silver-Age White Guys to last me a while :p Though taking another look at his costume to refresh my memory, I can see the appeal of a classic figure. And hey, he was voiced by the late, great Tony Jay in the 90s Spidey cartoon! All right, he gets another check mark in my book.

So, you think someone just guesstimated an entire wave of Legends?? haha Wish I had that kind of dumb luck!

Hmmm, I hope Enchantress is one of those two missing characters.

if i need 8 figures to build dormammu i wont be happy

@ Kain...I think you were right..(about the red bleed through).and whomever commented on how shiny the Symbiote Spider-Man is.

take a clooooooose look...
that thing looks freshly painted...lol
you can even see the blue in several places (legs) showing through the black..UNLESS it's an actual symbiote that didn't finish covering up Mr. Parker yet.

Boy Blunder 07-21-2016 10:37 AM

You know, I'm wondering if that Jackal body might get used for a Werewolf By Night or a Man-Wolf?

I was thinking this same thing, but I've authored enough criticisms about Hasbro in the past 12-24hrs...much of which, post reveal, I'm happily eating crow over...so I'll temper that noise...for now. ;)

Classic Beast? That's what I was thinking...but Jack (Werewolf by Night) is a distinct possibility...Jameson may be too big for that mold...

Hand-painted prototypes, so odds are that there is a 'normal' Pizza Spidey under that black paint. If you look at the close-ups on MarvelousNews, you can tell from the web-lines on Spidey UK that these are not final release products. I'd bet dollars to donuts that Symbiote Spidey will be fully-molded in a nice gloss black when it's time to hit the shelves.

Classic Beast would be cool, but by the same token as Jameson, wouldn't Hank be better-served on the 'more buff' body (Tiger Shark/Venom/Captain Britain/etc)?

It'll likely be as you say...

X-men version? I agree. Avengers George Perez-Beast, who was roughly the size of Cap and Wonder Man? I think this is spot on. When I saw Jackal, I immediately thought he was tracking a tad 'large'...then Avengers Beast popped into my mind...Who knows?

Definitely a no-go for 'current' Beast...

SymbiSpidey 07-21-2016 11:01 AM

Is it just me or is that Spidey UK using a new buck? I'll have to look at it in person once I'm done volunteering.

True, Perez' Beast was a bit more lithe. I'd be all right with that - I mean, my preferred Classic Beast is Jim Lee-style (I'm such a 90s kid), but I'd really be up for any blue, apelike, wingtip-hair Hank.

No, you aren't alone...

hasbroherofan 07-21-2016 11:07 AM

Insanely excited by Ms. Marvel. I do hope this means we might get Nova and Thor down the line. New Wolverine too.

I don't know why there would be. They announced Chiwetel Ejiofor was playing Mordo months ago. I think he's even in the trailer.

Dang I don't know how I missed that lol.

Boy Blunder 07-21-2016 11:10 AM

I'm not so sure that ANAD Spidey 2099 (what a mouthful!) uses a different body from regular Spidey 2099 - he's still got the extra shoulder joint piece there. I don't have my Spidey 2099 in front of me, so I can't say for certain.

Man, the more I look at him, the more I like him, even if I didn't like the costume in the comics. On a toy, it just looks fantastic. If he still looks good in final production, I'll be hard-pressed not to pick him up.

I was being sarcastic...but honestly, I don't put anything past the teeming masses of idiots out there...

hasbroherofan 07-21-2016 11:13 AM

It really does look ridiculously cool.

I'm very surprised by how well done the Jackal looks. Count me down as one of those who think they could reuse parts of it for a good Beast.

Augustus_Cole 07-21-2016 11:26 AM

with all the X-talk we were on...I decided to grab a Cyke off ebay...Plus me not really having any xmen..
how could I not for $12.00!!
Wasn't buying then..but the packaging was nice at that time...

Am I the only who thinks Kamala Khan's arms look really awkward? Love Jackal and Green Goblin though

richaveli83 07-21-2016 11:31 AM

Pass on Green Goblin. Hasbro still hasn't topped the Toybiz version. Definitely picking up the symbiote Spider-Man. I don't care much for Ms. Marvel but will pick her up as a base for a second costume Marvel Girl custom. Jackal is a maybe. The rest is a major skip.

hasbroherofan 07-21-2016 11:32 AM

Sources are saying Marvel just unveiled Nova (Sam), Angela, and Dazzler (classic) on a livestream. If true, awesome. I was thinking they were gonna hold back the Angela figure for the third Thor movie next year.

I don't dislike them but I would like alternate arms.

No, but at least it also looks like they can be swapped out - either at a mid-forearm peg, or at the elbow itself (for some reason, elbow looks more likely).
