I am SOOO tempted by the Simpsons minifigures but I feel like I should not start getting them since I have most of the world of springfield figures... I have been getting most of the other minis but Not sure if I want to start down that path. They are pretty cool though.

Caught "Brick Mansions" with some friends at the theater today (Not a bad redo, but the original French film "District D-13" was far superior. It was still fun though.) and then got lucky for the second day in a row on the MU front, finding both Thanos for my GF, and Classic Rhino for myself at TRU! And just in time for ASM2 no less!

Nice! Yet another reason to check out the closeout stores in my area! After finding so few Marvel Legends there, I was going to give up on those stores for a while, but not after this news.

Time to rant alittle{sorry}. So I've been collectin ML for a few months due to the MU/MI holding pattern and questionable future. Anyway I finally got some MI yesterday{Reaper and Hyperion} from a LCS.Man, Hasbro has really cheaped out on my beloved line. The plastic feels weak and rubbery. Reaper almost broke in half right outta the package. Ive got Injustice figures with better quality. Couple that with the fact that it seems all theyre doing is releasing unreleased and already planned(Vonner) figures and I have serious doubtd for this line. Looks like despite the issues with ML thats where my collecting is headed. I hope to return to 3.75 scale but with the GOTG going 2.5 scale Im afraid that aint in the cards. MI may still be on its last legs. Sorry needed to vent.

I saw the import/ TRU Asia exclusives of Hot Spot and Megs last week. My friend with me was so happy to catch Hot Spot since he missed him the time we saw them at TRU a couple years ago.

That's too bad, the only MI I've gotten was hulk, he seems pretty solid and doesn't feel cheap. Several others have said they have the same issues, which is too bad cuz MU was my all time favorite line.

Picked up the rock this weekend. "Dost thou smelleth what the Herc is cookin!!??"

Got this for $1 at the swap meet. The guy literally begged me to take it off his table. LMAO. I like the kitchen table and chairs fodder, perfect for 6" figures.

I think they look pretty good personally...especially Spider-Man. His lanky frame goes perfect. My only dislike of the old SHS figures, is that the arms and legs tend to fall off the ball joints really easy. Nothing a little nail polish can't fix though...

I found MU Rhino and Mysterio at TRU on Saturday. I was very surprised to see Mysterio after all this time, so I couldn't pass him up. With Rhino, I just passed him up one too many times when he was first released.

Also between Saturday and Sunday, I picked up 10 of the 16 new Simpsons Lego Minifigs, with only one dupe so far. I got Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Nelson, Milhouse, Ralph, Itchy and Scratchy. The others should be fairly easy to pick out, as they all have tell-tale unique pieces.

Finally! My first import Transformer! When I first heard about this guy, I assumed that he would be in the Alternators scale, but even though he's much smaller, there was no way that I was going to pass on an Optimus Prime that transforms into a Toyota FJ Cruiser :)

Ross here got a ton of these today. Mainly Ultimate & Battle Kata Roadblock & Firefly with the bobsled thing. If anyone gets any Snake eyes with Timber, please let me know.
