You can get Moon Knight and Ant-Man individually on ebay for like $20 each. The comic pack far surpasses that value but the Ant-Man is the same and the individual Moon Knight has better colors. The war's not worth it, that's just math.

look I know a lot of you guys are strictly openers and I'm mostly a MOC guy, but if you were to, by some random act of god, score that two pack... and open it, you would easily be the dumbest collector in the history of collecting anything. it would be like using the Mona Lisa as scrap paper, or using an orange foom for target practice! especially because, like En Sabah said there both common figures! If you EVER see a white shirt Cage, or a blonde or short haired Widow PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT! get it somewhere safe and call an adult... or me. now if you'll excuse me I've gotta crack a copy of Action Comics #1 out of the CCG case and make some origami birds!

*Opens a white shirt Luke Cage out of spite.*

Though seriously, I have a policy for MOC: Have one opened, and one MOC. The day I get my hands on an astral form Doctor Strange, I'm opening him. I don't care about values like that. I care about adding a figure to my collection.

Man, my phone was being stupid whilst typing this.

Autobot_Goldbug 09-03-2015 08:09 PM

you can't prove I opened it!!! :D

Math...numbers...I don't see it that way. This is a rare 2 pack collectible. It's not the same as having the two individual figures. If they didn't come from the 2 pack, then it has no value.

Don't compare a cheap Doctor Strange fig to the "Holy Grails" of the MU...When you get yourself a WTT Luke Cage and you decide you want to open it, then we can talk.

I stopped by target since there's one across the street from my hotel for force Friday. All the 3.75" stuff was 5 POA and the 6" stuff doesn't appeal to me. I figured the 3.75" stuff could be used for customs but no, complete waste of time.

Welcome to the Ark friend, you've found salvation. The trust of the covenant has brought you into our holy circle! Are you ready to plant a seed and make your donation of earthly gains which will never be spent on food or needs again but on the holy plastic crack?!

Seriously though, welcome aboard and nice shot. :)

"PC" is a nonsense term made up to silence people who want to be treated equally, making the people wielding it look like they're somehow censored or persecuted.

Yeah hearing complaints about "diversity being shoved down my throat" is getting old. Sure it's annoying when they just randomly change someone's race, but a lot of these switches are different characters taking up the mantle of others. Did anyone get upset when Bucky took over for Steve? I love Steve Rogers, Bruce Wayne, tony stark etc. but I also love Sam Wilson, Shang chi, and Ororo Munroe. If you are offended by diversity, get over it or simply don't buy the products as its a free market (mostly). As for me, I'm looking forward to that Sam Wilson cap and foster Thor 2 pack.

My "problem" is more with the fact the "mantle" concept is that it really destroys character development! by making X-23 wolverine your saying that x-23 wasn't a viable character on her own, she needs to hold one of the main spots, they could have worked on developing Valkery or Sif, but they chose to just make a random female thor to make a point. Sam as Cap is probably the best fit, if it was only him. but a complete overnight PC realignment is just lazy story telling. These characters have lived the lives they did to become who they are to simply scrap them out and replace them because being a white male isn't gosh with the brainwashed masses anymore is just a pathetic attempt to stay "fresh and relevant" you want a good example that shouldn't offend any one: the new Hulk is Thor?!?! why? He's Thor! (oh excuse me chick got his name when she took his hammer) He's Odinson (oh wait that's sexist) lets make him green and call him hulk! lazy writing!

Actually Amadeus Cho is the new Hulk. The Thor and Iron Fist teasers were red herrings. I guess they don't think Cho is good enough to stand on his own anymore. I'm okay with the occasional mantle passing; Steve died and Bucky took over, Steve got depowered and Sam took over and these made sense. The thing I don't like about what's currently happening is how many mantles are getting shifted, more than one at once is crazy! When it was a woman taking over for Thor I was fine, I guess the name being Thor got a little confusing when old Thor was still around too but whatever. But having all these name-shifts now is getting weird because it's existing heroes taking other heroes' titles for no apparent reason other than elevating their recognition. Okay, X-23 taking up a fallen friend's mantle works until Logan's inevitable return.
