What do you guys think about this 3 pack? I would get it just for the Ultron Mark 1.

I did. Also if they went on super clearance like for 3 bucks I'd army build them for an ultron first strike scene

Love that select Gambit accessory, and those Tamashi Flames.

Thanks @Universe for the kind words! I guess I'll have to oblige your request for more photo posts :)

That does look good; well done Pilkster!

That three pack; I would wait until it goes on clearance. It's not worth the retail price, my friend.

Mutantkind; those are some nice sets and lighting. My hat's off to your stunning displays.

Great video Universe!!

Just did the school run and bought Age Of Ultron (released this morning) on DVD to watch about three or four times in my studio today! Working on some boring sculpture this week, hope this helps to pass the time.

I am off to work and not work at the same time!! also posting off a couple things to a couple members this afternoon as well. All in all a good day!

lucky. here in the states we wont see it on shelves till early october

ukmu 09-14-2015 11:21 AM

Yours are on the way mate! Chucked in some stuff to make up for the delay.

Something for Kernal and JimmyO as well.

Still have a bunch of unread messages here to go through. When you miss a couple of weeks on the boards it seems like work getting back into the groove! ;)

After watching Avengers again today I realised how badly I need a new Hulk. Just have the Secrwt Wars version. I like the kit bash version Psycho has I think.

Got a tiny bit more work done on the big Groot uniformed figure. School just started back here a week ago tomorrow so now the lad is back I can get back to normal. Got all the parts finally to make a Gamora in her black Borat man-kinni with skull belt. Found some tiny skulls I am hoping to slice off the face for her Cape buckle things. Will have them ready for under the tree this Christmas.

Oh, got the top part of the 2.5" Avengers Tower the other day, Tony's lab attack playset I believe. Anyway, getting all three of those for his Christmas as well. Then a few HYDRA ( of coarse ) a couple more Ultron MU Secret Wars red lined figures, about 6 Spidey villains and maybe a few X-Men as we only have the starting lineup from the old 90s cartoon.

BMX racing takes up most of his time and my money now. He is training for the 2028 Olympics he tells me. That is actually a fun world for sport. Spend Tuesday's and Thursday's and alternative Aaturdays at the BMX track now. And in the upcoming year every weekend a race about two hours away (different place each time) for about 10 weeks. So, yeah for that. (Sarcasm)

I know it is all over the off topic button but you guys are like family to me in a way so I thought I would catch you up on me.

ukmu 09-14-2015 11:23 AM

Bmorr!!!! Howzit brotha! Are we ever gonna get a revamp of "Team Up Tuesdays"? I loved those!!!!

Not my pic, but got that castle, that table, and those figures (better versions of HYDRA, and have SDCC Skull, BAF MODOK and the SDCC Zemo in my opinion are all better) so I want to recreate this shot. Better figures worse lighting and mor pixelated. One outta three ain't bad!

UrsaMagnus 09-14-2015 11:37 AM

That's a great shot, and though I agree that the BaF M.O.D.O.K. is better, I always remain constantly surprised at how well that old M.O.D.O.K. works with these figures. If it just had a more 'realistic' paint job and better detailing, it would pass in this line smoothly.

ukmu 09-14-2015 11:43 AM

I have seen him repainted by talented people and it rocks. A lot of detail in it that goes unseen until a skilful wash brings it out!

Also saw this GROOT in store and snapped a comparison pic. This is a good size head with a decent sculpt (just needs the MODOK touch and be repainted)

Thought some might be interested in him. Bigger than the squeezy legs movie head from last year but smaller than the recent EE baf redo. Took a closeup and a comparison with a random MU figure on the shelf,

I love seeing pics and speculating what it would be like to have to work with a guy with a techno scythe and a short temper lol. Or a dude with a hell claw. I mean I work in cubicle land and sometimes u just wanna goof off on the internet, but it would be hard to do that with a guy with a sword drawn all the time.

ukmu 09-14-2015 11:57 AM

http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...s/image_38.jpg

Here is a good example of him.

Not many sword wielding office lads in Western Washington???? Well, maybe Chihuly is a super villain? Some of the Seahawks look mean too.

Maybe if HYDRA ran your company you wouldn't be goofing off on the inter-web. You have let both me and Robert Redford down mate!

Robert Redford Animated GIF

UrsaMagnus 09-14-2015 12:37 PM

That's excellent. A bit to Goldfinger for my tastes, but the point is well-proven.

EDIT: Also, Mutantkind your pictures continue to amaze. The lighting (especially on the Deathlok ones) is outstanding. Lighting tends to be my greatest foe.

But that is the SDCC Zemo in that picture. Also there isn't really a difference between the single carded Zemo and the SDCC pack version, the only difference is his boot cuffs and I'd actually say the individual did them better. The SDCC Zemo has the fur trimmings on his boot cuffs but like every single one I've ever seen has them upside down which looks off considering that gravity is a thing, whereas the individual Zemo has Captain America's boot cuffs which look quite normal although less fashionable.

I have posted so many kitbashed Hulks, that sometimes I seem like Keeper of the Hulks! But I haven't done this in a while - all the Hulk bodies I have compared (aside from some of the body variants like Skaar, WWH, Red Hulk, etc.) Each body type is represented.

http://i1268.photobucket.com/albums/...psbssx03aj.jpg

Front row (L-R): Showdown Hulk, MI Indestructible Hulk, my primary kitbashed Hulk (AA body, SW head), custom 1st appearance Hulk (uses MU gray Hulk body and classic Avengers set head)

Back row (L-R): MU "Ultimates" gray Hulk (which is also the SW Hulk body), a movie series (1st Hulk movie, I think) Hulk for which a variant with non-gimmick arms is popular to use with MU, Avengers classic set Hulk, AA Hulk, and basic MU Hulk with no mods.

Is one of these the one you meant?

K Dubious 09-14-2015 01:29 PM

I love that Gray Hulk man really nicely done. That avengers team pack is one I have passed on so many times, as I only really care for the Hulk in it.

Got the Avengers Skrull figure today. Had to add a little bit of tape to stabilize it, but it fits on the ball part of a ball-hinged neck pretty well!

One day, I'll get my hands on you...

Also, I have a question. I'm really sorry if this sounds rude, but what exactly do you do for a living?
