That explains everything. Bet you were in the Red Room. Do you steal MOC Solid Visions from babies?!

Why can't you use your abilities for good! Stop the scalpers!

I don't steal though...I just buy it! If I like it I buy it! But it wasn't always like that...I worked hard to get to this point.

He uses his abilities for good, trust me dude He's just about the most generous person you'll find walking around these days.

by the way, you can't stop scalpers. shit goes for what it goes for. if you put a MOC Vision on ebay with no reserve for 99 cents you bet your ass it'll still fetch around 200$ the seller didn't dictate the price WE (collectors) did. and as long as there are collectors with deep pockets, and crazy commitment the market will determine some pieces are crazy valuable. the real scalpers are the China bay sellers that charge a 300% markup on loose figures to people who just cant wait a month until the whole set lingers for weeks on HTS for 9.99 MIP. but again it's us determining the price.

Yeah they used to put them up at like $10 or less, but now the sellers just want too much for those figures. I hate when people put up prices artificially. I never have a problem with people putting things up at or near cost, I would not have most of my collection without eBay. Scalpers need to grow a pair and put the figures up at or below cost and let the market set the price instead of artificially charging $30 or whatever for a new figure that sells for $10-$13. The funny thing is like u said they could get more if they started off at 99 cents.

Madame Warlock 09-14-2015 06:53 PM

Guys guys! I got those Ant-man/Wasp figures. The QC is a little off on them maybe(still trying to get Hank's lower leg to peg in properly) but they're great! their sculpts are really nice, and kinda exaggerated in a fun/dynamic way that you don't miss the lack of articulation much, they can do a surprising amount of poses, though moreso Jan than Hank. Hank's the better sculpt/more impressive looking though.

Welcome to the Volunteer State. You will find it a barren wasteland for collectibles, but every once in a while a Sandcrawler comes along and offers us goods to purchase in abundance....

Tell me friend, is Ant Man's helmet really too small for a Steve Rogers head?

while we're talking Tennessee, is anyone going to the con in Nashville (I think it's the 24-26th)? I'm considering it, not impressed with the guest list (I've seen all of the people I'd be interested in seeing at other cons) but I'm hoping there will be some decent vendors.

the Steve head should fit, but I don't know how well his eyes and mouth will line up. the hank head (or parker head) is ginormous.

I may go, it depends on if I find a friend to go with me or. I wish I'd gone last year but eh, the line to see Stan Lee was apparently ridiculous, and costly to get a picture/autograph.

these figures are half the size of an MU, that's kinda what makes them fun. sorry :(

Ah, pics I've seen stands them about 2.75", to MUs 4", I assumed the size difference wouldn't matter much.

Shame, I need an Ant Man helmet; the Vort one is a little rough around the edges, and the movie head is too small to hollow out.
What I need is to reverse shrink the 3.75" movie head just slightly bigger to fit a proper unmasked head.

Madame Warlock 09-15-2015 12:21 PM

I don't have a Cap figure with me atm but I'll take pics of them next to the figs I do have later

Kamatayan 09-15-2015 12:41 PM

I'm gonna assume this is you Pilkster: http://www.toyark.com/members/the-creator-56853/

K Dubious 09-15-2015 12:50 PM

Nope he is "The Creator" I sent him a couple of Chairs cast in black.

I'm sure he picked up some of Pilks stuff too perhaps that is why him and Pilk are friends.
