of all the caps theyve put out, im still waiting for a MU modern 616 version single carded(commander rogers doesnt count). The closest weve come are the SW two packs. But for now the cap movie comic series one(not the ultimate universe ones) would work.

For Cap , I prefer the one that came from the Gift set ( probably Ebay that ) but I have the SW one with Kang but if you need one now, the Cap A from the Cap A first Avenger movie line would do ( get the comic version , they on clearance now on most stores ).

As for Thing , I really like the one from the team pack since you get Reed and Sue as well plus that mini robot , as long as you dont mind the short sleeves. That Thing, I like because he is barefoot and is not wearing diapers ( also theres the futute foundation variant as well but he has boots on ). SW one is wearing diapers but comes with Bulldozer also a plus if youre going to complete the wreckers. As for the Single figs one hes wearing the boots and comes in 2 different colors light and dark blue , something to consider if youre goingnto complete the Fantastic Four. Some of our fellow Arkers like the Showdown Thing which is great since hes sculpt is excellent and his articulation is topnotch.

Oh forgot to mention Showdown Thing has diapers on so its a no go for me. :)

at some point i'd like to get Showdown Thing because the sculpt and articulation are tops, but i like them all in matching uniforms (w Flame On Torch) - so the F4pk gets the nod. Gift Set CAP is also cool w the clear shield. i managed to get just the clear shield in a trade and gave it to Steve Rogers.
