To this day the only Boba Fett (not Proto-Fett) I've seen in person is the one that arrived in the mail. Of all the waves that actually hit my stores he is the one figure that I never saw, in hindsight I should've picked up some wave 1 figures but when they were still new I had zero interest in the line which is rather unfortunate now since I remember finding all of wave 1 at a Target.

I never once saw Boba Fett. Proto Fett...yes. But Boba? Never.

Speaking of which, I was roaming around Ebay tonight when I noticed out friends in China are starting to put out bootleg Black Series figures. I've had experiences with the Marvel Legends side of these China-bay toys, but I'm just curious...has anyone tried picking up any of these China-Black Series figures? They're fairly cheap (especially if the sellers combine shipping) and look close enough. I was thinking of adding a few more clone and stormtroopers to beef up my ranks...

Here's a few examples...

Star Wars The Black Series 6" Boba Fett 06 Action Figure Xmas Gift | eBay

Star Wars The Black Series 12 Clone Trooper Captain 6" Figure No Box | eBay

Star Wars The Black Series 03 Sandtrooper 6" Action Figure Xmas Gift | eBay

SIDE NOTE: My Captain Phasma and Guavian (splck) enforcer both have VERY LOOSE ankles...right out the box...both of these figures I've stood up and they have fallen over at least 3 or 4 times each...because of that ankle joint...that sucks...these guys should stand like all the other Black Series figs do!!

So far, I have bought the ones I really want online. In stores, I've only seen Finn, Chewy, and Rey. I saw one FO Stormtrooper at Target but the small side arm gun was missing (probably fell out of the holder but still in the box) but I had already purchased him a few weeks ago online. So far, my best luck for buying them online has been TRU (Kylo, FO Stormtrooper, Snowtrooper, 3.75 Kylo, 3.75 Phasma) and Amazon (Phasma, Guavian). I've seen Phasma come in stock 3-4 times on TRU and every time she has sold out before I could submit my order. So either their system is glitched or I was having terrible luck until Amazon had them in stock yesterday. I would keep scanning both TRU and Amazon because I think she will keep coming in stock intermittently.

I was fortunate to find both Fetts but I sold them on, as I was trying to make room in my collection.

On another note, just found that Elite Series Grievous. Most impressive.

Dr Kain 10-28-2015 06:03 AM

Like Kylo and the Sts, I figure I'll see Phasma in about a month once the waves start actually hitting stores like a Roman army.

Augustus_Cole 10-28-2015 06:19 AM

Come to think of it...TO THIS DAY ..i have NEVER seen a 6" First Order Stormtrooper in a regular store/toy store...and I've been in quite a few...I've seen it for regular prices online, and called a place that had it (far) but never in person..

This is why now..I tend to grab things i MIGHT want...I can always either bring them back..or sell them later...better to have an not need..than need and not have....Marvel Universe figs always come to mind..I remember seeing them when they first hit and i was like ehhhhhh...pass.

Yep, was curious what her role would be when I first heard the tall GOT star would be in the film. I bet a lot of people will be surprised when she takes off her helmet.

"OMG - a woman!"

If I was still getting 3.75 inch figures. Both Wal Marts near me were like this in the last couple days. 2 full pegs each of nothing but Luke, Vader, and Chewbacca.

Phasma was again in stock on Amazon tonight at around 6:57PM EST. Sold out in 10 minutes. I think the best shot of getting her might be Amazon. She's come in stock two days in a row.

Yet most of us who do collect 3.75 inch ALREADY have those 3!!!
The character selection baffles me. Those will be there a long time.

This sucks, I have been checking Amazon all damn day and I never saw it come up. These 10 minute windows are killing me.

I see the constable is still up but Phasma and the others are long gone. TRU also has the wave coming available in and out, Poe came up 3 times yesterday so they may be a good shot too and they don't email until it stays in stock for awhile - learned that lesson with the Snowtrooper.

Are you serious? How about they actually get enough to keep her instock? I can't be at a computer at all times of the day to order one.

En Sabah Nerd 10-29-2015 04:20 AM

So I was literally just at TRU and it said Phasma was in stock online and then while I was in the checkout it said it sold out, so I missed it by seconds apparently. Holy shit, will this figure ever be in stock for more than a few minutes?! Probably eventually but this is really frustrating.

TimothyR 10-29-2015 04:27 AM

wave 2 hasn't even hit big box retailers yet, so, i'm sure everyone who wants her will be able to pick her up at some point.

That's all that keeps me hopin' to get this, at this point every figure from wave 1 is readily available online somewhere at a good/retail price so hopefully come late November or mid December wave 2 will be the same.

Man I've had Captain Phasma in my cart and could not checkout 3 different times within the past week. Once on Amazon and twice with tru. This is getting old, I just want 1 damn figure so I don't have to order a whole case.

Not sure how quick they are to notify everyone but some people have been successful using it to get Snowtrooper Officer from TRU.

Guavian is backup on Amazon for a Nov 4th ship date. I really think Amazon should take at least a pre-order on Phasma so at least you know you are in a queue to get one once it is in stock. I know it is frustrating because I looking for Phasma in stores (Target and Walgreens) the past two weeks and checking online constantly since she showed up at TRU online. I almost broke down and ordered a case of Wave 2 from BBTS because I was so frustrated but thankfully canceled it the next morning.

On a positive note, I've been seeing Wave 2 stuff in stores this week at Target. I picked up a 3.75 Snowtrooper, Ezra, and Kanan this morning. A whole bunch of wave two 3.75 figure sets and a restock of black label vehicle miniatures. Hasbro would be idiots not to produce as many figures as possible leading up to Dec 18th. Once the movie drops, then non collectors are going to flood the stores to buy up everything for Christmas and nostalgia. I think our best bet to get what we want is going to be in November. They will stock the shelves to capacity by December.

huracheeze 10-29-2015 09:08 AM

Not phasma, but guavian back up on amazon

Edit: I think phasma was just up and missed it by minutes or so.

wolverine2281 10-29-2015 09:49 AM

Still have some avilable
$21 each, 2 for $40. Or 19 each for 3 or more.

I'll have more Wave 2 black series next month but will probably only be selling sets

tgbobafett 10-29-2015 02:41 PM

do you think they just ran a short run on her to tease everyone before the movie comes out, and then after the movie hits, more figures will come out of phasma??

No I just think that she's easily the most demanded figure of the wave and the distribution isn't as good/widespread as wave 1 was with its special launch event. I am pretty sure that they will re-release this wave just as they've re-released wave 1 many times now and eventually the prices will drop.

Totally agree with you. Hasbro has probably figured out by now that anything Phasma is their biggest seller. By producing as many figures of her as possible is practically printing money for them. I'm thinking her next figure by Hasbro will be a 3.75 Black Series for Walmart. If we thought getting the 6 inch black series was tough, this one will be a freaking nightmare in comparison. I'm pretty much all set for Phasma. I've got the figuart Phasma on pre-order and waiting for the inevitable Hot Toys version.

I randomly checked this morning and was able to get one after 2 weeks of hell searching for this figure. I wanted to get a second one for a guy I met on a fb group who helped me get the Poe 2 pack last week but they sold out. It happened so damn fast I can't believe how crazy that was. Thank God for 1 click buy option or I wouldn't of gotten jack.
