Wolv2281, what are the Wolverine cover art pieces around the to of the walls?

Most of them are posters back from when Wizard had poster books with like 25 double sided posters. I used to buy 2 of each so I could have both. I still have a ton of extra posters somewhere. My house before this I had the entire ceiling and walls all covered as well

Hey I still also have a bunch of the Wizard posters. I actually still have one up right now in my room that's Boba Fett on one side and Spawn on the other and in my garage I have one that's Spawn and Spider-Man but I don't remember what the other side is, Witchblade maybe.

A dollar store army man I had left over from my childhood. It was one in a grenade holding position.

like 90% of all Wizard covers were Wolverine, Witchblade, Spawn, or Gen13. I miss the wizard publications so bad, especially toyfare.

wolverine2281 09-25-2015 08:36 PM

Toyfare was my jam. I still have most of the Wizard/TF mags that had Wolvie on the cover

kylactus 09-25-2015 08:51 PM

my favorite Wolverine cover was the one that looked like a golf digest cover. I still read my old ToyFare magazines every so often. It's fun to look at all the toys that came out decades ago. and read speculation in hind sight.

Kernel 09-25-2015 09:31 PM

^ I loved wizard. It's also fun to look at the old articles on which directions they were gonna take a character.

Hey guys; the new Revoltech Movie Ultron is up for preorder on HLJ; it's priced $40 before shipping.

This is killing me. I don't know if a 5" Revolmini Ultron is coming out and I'd prefer that over this one.

Not a bad haul for 70bucks.

Are you telling me you got that Quicksilver/Wonderman 2 pack for $5! How come you guys always see the coolest things in flea markets!

UrsaMagnus 09-26-2015 06:33 AM

Yeah, I never find anything awesome at flea markets either.

Anyone need the magic rings that come with the legends strange? I'm sure they look good with a marvel u one. I don't need them and would prefer someone here got use out of them.

I wish I had a Universe Strange for them. Say, @Kamatayan, don't you have the one that came in the two-pack with Silver Surfer?

Anyone think we'll see an MU Black Panther rerelease next year since he's debuting in the MCU? I hope so.

I really need to get a BP figure but I just not a fan of the og buck or the target jungle king look

ForcePhantom 09-26-2015 12:12 PM

Hey guys I need to know which Hulk works best with the universe figures. Is the unleashed select Hulk too big?

K Dubious 09-26-2015 12:45 PM

Kylactus - I have been waiting to see pics of your collection. I'm not sure if you posted them before, but I knew it would be amazing. Plus great finds at that $5 booth, now sell me that avengers team pack, lol.

Wolvie - I like that your collection is a bit of organized chaos, like you ran out of room 3 or 4 times, but decided that couldn't stop you. I think it is amazing that you have a complete TB Legends collection, well done sir.

I have been dipping my feet in the legend's waters sticking to MCU only and I have to say I am really disappointed with how terrible OUR LINE has become. The GOTG wave in Legends are all completely new molds with great detail and what do we have? 2 members, 2 statues, and a MIA Gamora...OH, BUT JUST WAIT!! We will soon get a Gamora that doesn't fit with any previously released figures???

Also I'm not trying to defend/offend UKMU as he is a Big Boy and can explain himself, but sometimes when he says he has shipped something it really means he has it ready to ship, and not actually placed it in the mail yet. I'm sure he will eventually make it right, but who knows when that eventually might happen.

My pegs are much more vacant than yours....

I personally would say Select Hulks are far too big,the Unleashed Select is a bit bigger than the Rulk I've got.
These are basic MUs with an MU line Hulk (my own custom Norman Osborn Hulk based on the Return of Norman Osborn storyline where he was an adaptoid) and a Movie Hulk from TIH. He's the best Scale wise, I have 2, one painted red for old Ross. The largest I'd ever go is Legends, and even then hunched over.
