Considering that's a really old figure, and not even the most recent Black Panther, we definitely won't be getting him re-released. At best we'll get the TRU light up Base one, which is the better T'Challa anyway, but at worst we'll get a Panther on the Big Time Spidey mold. Either way, we're definitely getting another Panther in 2018

That movie hulk do u remember its exact name because I all I keep finding is gamma slap one and I hate that his arms are locked in bear hug mode

I got the light-up base Black Panther for like $4 at TRU (last year? more than a year? I don't remember). Awesome figure, I love the blue sheen. I could see them making a new one, probably on one of the new bucks, with his gold necklace, gauntlet pieces, and cape. I always preferred him without the cape but I don't dislike the cape.

These are basic MUs with an MU line Hulk (my own custom Norman Osborn Hulk based on the Return of Norman Osborn storyline where he was an adaptoid) and a Movie Hulk from TIH. He's the best Scale wise, I have 2, one painted red for old Ross. The largest I'd ever go is Legends, and even then hunched over.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting back into collecting after a few years. Thanks for the comparison photos. I like the way you customized the movie hulk. Would you say the select hulkbuster is too large as well?

I would say it scales good with TIH Hulk.

Comparatively it looks more like a Hulkbuster in the Select form:

The chinabay Hulkbuster is decent scale wise; but it smells like chemicals. I actually removed it from my collection because I think it maybe toxic. I have no proof of course; just speculation.

New Star Wars figures. I'm going to get Finn so that the head can go to Black Panther and the body can go to Rhodey, while the Han coat can go to making an IM3 Mandarin.

I could use SO MANY Finn heads (phrasing) but at $8 a pop I can't pull the trigger.

It is an unregulated bootleg which means it has NO safety guarantees, a huge problem with bootleg toys from any country is the ever-present possibility of lead-poisoning.

Kamatayan 09-26-2015 01:59 PM

It's so hard to find that TIH Hulk at a decent price. And even if I did, I don't think I'd line him up with my MCU guys. The fact that Norton isn't the Hulk anymore makes it feel out of place. EDIT: It turns out, I couldn't find him at a decent price because I was looking at the Mutating Hulk. The one everybody uses from the TIH line is called the Steel Beam Hulk.

Also, can I see the ML and Select Hulkbusters next to the TIH Hulk just to see if I'm willing to get either of those for my collection.

Also, I really need to know if it's confirmed that we're getting a Revolmini Ultron before biting at this Revoltech one. So if someone could help me out please do. I'm really conflicted as to whether or not it will be good in my collection. Would you guys put it in yours?

jedirulz123 09-26-2015 02:18 PM

I think the Select Hulkbuster works size wise (it's pretty much the same size as the Rulk Select). It's great for a giant battle mech, like in the film.

"Hulk with Steel Beam Weapon" rings a bell, I'm not sure if it would come up in an ebay search like that though. It's the super poseable one.

This is the Revolmini Ultron prototype. It's got the same squashed face as the painted one we've seen, perhaps this is in fact the Revolmini. If it is not, then we are getting one at some point.

Thanks all for the info but I'm thinking I my just use the aou legends one since its easily available at three local stores plus the face just looks wrong to me for some reason the more I look at it the less I like it.

Those Antman bootlegs smell worse than death too

Il Cattivo 09-26-2015 03:32 PM

Gamma slap sounds awesome. Reminds me of the sega game where you could walk around pimp slapping fools like abomination or rhino and watch them go flying across the screen:

deathofthelines 09-26-2015 03:56 PM

Lol I meant clap not slap. Has a button on the back that makes his arms closer in a way that makes it look like hes doing the clap to out out a fire

Oh I am definitely out of room. Sadly though those pics were taken about 7 years ago and I sold almost all of them shortly after, right before my first kid was born. Tried to jump back in but years later trying to make a complete collection of Variants, international cards and foil posters was just too much. It's all MU now. Plus my other stuff...

Not really. In fact, I'd say most people with decent sized collections do this every time they go through it. Unless I'm in a rush I always make sure to check everything is good.

Kamatayan 09-26-2015 07:14 PM

So, is anyone actually getting the Revoltech Ultron or at least be willing to put it in their collection?

ForcePhantom 09-26-2015 07:21 PM

Thanks so so much for the info guys? One more question, promise. So the movie hulk works well with the select hulkbuster, what about the red hulk? MU, LEGENDS, or Select?

That's where problems start kicking in, imo. The movie Hulk is the only actual Hulk that's in scale. The rest are too small or too big. Imo, you're better off going with the regular MU Hulks. Even though they aren't to scale, it'a in scale with the rest of the MU brutes such as Juggernaut, Rhino, Abomination, etc. That TIH STeel Beam Hulk is the only bruiser that is actually Hulk's height compared to the average MU.

That sucks, guess that's what I'll stick with. Thanks a lot.

I most definitely am!

kylactus 09-26-2015 07:50 PM

yes to the revoltech ultron.

on red Hulks, I'd say legends, in the comics he palms several peoples heads so he should be quite large.

so... because it's a slow night, and we haven't done it in a while,
where is everybody at on top ten figures we need...but in the spirit of the recent Hulk talk, top ten and what scale you want them in to fit with MU.
1: Hulk 2099- 6" (got the toybiz one, want an update)
2: Watcher- 6" (MS is just too damn pricey and I want removable eyes)
3: Tigra- 3.75" (she's an Avenger!)
4: Swordsman- 3.75" (again, he's an Avenger! and I'm a compleationist)
5: the collector- 3.75" (he'd be a great con exclusive as a nod to us)
6: Super Skrull- 3.75" (a top shelf FF villain)
7: Stryfe- 3.75" (if you lived through the 90's you know)
8: Snow Bird- 3.75" ( alpha flight is sorely lacking love)
9: this one's a cheat... 90's X-force! with the exception of Cable and War Path none of them have been made! how is there not a global outrage!
Shatterstar, sunspot, cannon ball, Rictor, Domino, Boom boom, Warpath! NOW!!!!!
10. cheating again... The brotherhood of Mutants! Avalanche, Pyro, Blob, and the psychic chick whose name escapes me that was in love with Mystique.

kylactus 09-26-2015 08:06 PM

Quick question to my customizer friends, would it be possible to do a shrink of a Hot Toys head sculpt to 6" scale, make a hard copy, then shrink it again to 3.75" scale? would you not end up with perfect movie heads?
