Now that Jackal has been announced we could really use Vulture....and Mysterio.....and Lizard.....and Shocker....and Kingpin....and Scorpion....and I'll still be only halfway satisfied.

That is such a great line up. Crazy to think that apart from the Green Goblin and Doc Ock right there, all the rest of those we've had since 2 years of Spidey Legends. Incredible.

And certain to have many more in the next year. We're supposedly having 3 waves. Which is great, but some of that will inevitably be movie figures, which I'll pass on.

If we're talking Spidey villains I want Shriek, Doppelganger, Carrion, Stunner and Doc Ock

Does anyone have a Marvel Cinematic Universe Marvel Legends Checklist?

donmeca2020 07-27-2016 05:29 AM

So im curious which head are most of you using with the hobgoblin figure? I like the demogoblin head as well as the classic look. Hard choice lol

As far as the next figures we need i would like to see a large BAF Grizzly figure, puma, how about another figure we would never think same as how jackal was. How about tarantula ??

I'm sticking with the DemiGoblin head(i like it)...I actually have no choice now.
Had to make a decision..I actually traded the regular\classic head, for the Head and wings of the BAF Hobgolin fig... now he's complete..and my goblin must remain in demon mode..

Captain Nash 07-27-2016 06:31 AM

Gonna use the classic Hobgoblin head, I think.

Such a wonderful question!

As of now, my MCU Marvel Legends checklist includes...

Mark 1 Iron Man

Thor (Walmart exclusive)
The Destroyer
Nick Fury (Walmart exclusive)
Avengers Captain America
Avengers Battle Damaged Mark 6 Iron Man
Avengers Thor
Avengers Hulk
Avengers Hawkeye
Avengers Loki
Mark 42 Iron Man
Iron Patriot
Stealth suit Captain America
Black Widow (2, short hair and long hair)
The Winter Soldier
WW2 Captain America
Star-Lord
Gamora
Drax
Rocket
Groot
AOU Mark 43 Iron Man
AOU Thor
AOU Hulk
AOU Captain America

I know there are a lot of people who hate movie figures, but I love them. I have everyone that has been released for the MCU, and since this universe is going to continue for years to come, I want to continue collecting and build a massive display.

Once again, great question!

I think I'm going with the classic one too. I have the old Toy Biz demon Hobgoblin. That thing looks scary, that's my demon version.

I'm gonna call it now, I bet we get a Dark Beast (or even a regular Beast) from that Jackal figure. Dark Beast was always skinnier post AoA if I recall. It would be a simple figure to make.

Startaiger 07-27-2016 07:58 AM

For new Spidey's rogues figures, how about :
The Hitman
Brother Power & Sister Sun
The Enforcers
Cyclone
The Swarm
Carrion
Meteor-Man
...and the very best of them all, THE ROLLER-SKATER!!!

Sorry for the late reply here. I have no clue what time the exclusives go on sale. It has varied in the past. Could be 10AM or 4PM, they never really give a heads up there. Although they may have given a time last year. I forget.

Not sure. When I started reading Spider-Man Jason had the more demonic head (In the Name of the Rose was the first Spidey comics for me) and that is what I really loved. That's also how he was in The Return of the Sinister Six. However, I've gotten so used to the classic head over the years through the cartoons and other figures.

SymbiSpidey 07-27-2016 08:31 AM

Definitely going with classic Hobby....unless I manage to get another lol

donmeca2020 07-27-2016 09:00 AM

Yea guys it's all a toss up for me..... i like them but can't figure out which head to throw on there. i still haven't opened him yet neither lol

Anywho i went to my LCS today for my weekly comic pick up, and he told me right away they got a case of legends. i said " legends? " he said yea, shows me an almost entire wave of the giant man wave. only one missing was Nick Fury.... He did have panther, however they had him marked up at $35.99. i was so tempted however i didnt want to pay that much for one figure. so i just left it alone.

TheXtremisT 07-27-2016 09:13 AM

I'm gonna go a slightly different route and fit the Toybiz Hobby head on him, along with the cape. I just prefer that one. The oranges apparently match, and I will repaint the face the pale yellow it should be, because the Toybiz head has an orange overspray for some reason. I'll make it removable too, so I can pop on the 2 Hasbro ones depending on which looks I'll prefer.

I'll also donate the purple glider too, since this new one's is very small.

I really doubt that Hasbro will ever get to MCU quicksilver which sucks

TheSerpentKing 07-27-2016 10:02 AM

I'm still a bit bummed Hasbro didn't show or at least announce a new Gambit or BAF Apocalypse. Maybe some day.

I really wish Hasbro would make some larger scale characters like Galactus and have him stand around 24-30 inches. Doubt it will happen anytime soon but a man can hope. I still dream of the day Hasbro comes out with an ML Celestial but even at 1/12 scale I don't think I'd have any room in my house or on my property to display him :(

The Dazzler we should have gotten IMO. Sweet custom! How do you avoid paint rub?

I'm hoping that Hasbro will take advantage of the new 12" line by releasing some larger characters, to give us some more figures aside from whatever BAF they can fit into a line.

As for the bigger ones (Galactus and the like), I'd always assumed it was a cost vs. profits situation, and given the lower (generally-speaking) numbers that action figures pull in these days compared to the glory days of yore, I'd assume it's just better business sense.

But, since I'm not a business major or someone who works at Hasbro, I'm just spitballing ideas.

That's what I assumed too which is to bad since there are so many large scale characters they could do.

Maybe Hasbro could release them as some kind of exclusive like at EE or SDCC so they don't have to produce as many and charge maybe $50-$100 per figure. For characters like Galactus or Sentinel adding some LEDs would swell but then Hasbro would be spoiling me at that point.

I use the Demogoblin head. I still display the Toybiz Hobgoblin as the original Hobgoblin.

I still haven't gotten completely good at that... I sanded down ALot of her joints but I'm still learning. If you move her around a lot you'll still get rubs.
I like the disco version but This would have been a nice version to get.. That's why I made her. And thank you for the nice comments.
