Was out on the town with the GF today, and picked these up...

TRU was handing these special Kreo sets out today for free as part of a promotion. They initially refused to give my GF and I one despite standing in line for nearly a half an hour, stating that children were first priority. They ended up chasing us back to the end of the line, where we stood again until every single child there was given one. With no one left in line but us, we tried again at that point, and were thankfully rewarded for our patience.

I haven't bought Star Wars carded figs in years, but am a sucker for the vintage series. Having finally gotten into the Clone Wars cartoon series thanks to Netflix, I couldn't resist Barriss (a favorite character of mine in the series thus far) here when I ran into her at a local comic/toy shop. Hopefully I can find Ashoka someday without breaking the bank!

Picked up three of these Guardians of the Galaxy packs at Target today. They are tiny, maybe 3 inch. I was actually impressed with the detail and paint on them considering they are so small. Fun little figures! :)

OK thanks - was @ a toy fair recently & they were charging $40 for her.

Ouch, yeah I'm not surprised. I think the lowest I generally saw when browsing online was $45. That was in the last week or so too. Usually closer to $50. Hopefully if that refresher box starts showing up more places she will become more available.

1. That's the way he's designed in the show. Do an image search and you'll see.
2. I'd say he's worth a tenner at least, $15 on the outside. $26 and only finding him at TRU are the only reasons I do not own him yet.
3. Agreed, except the part about actually going to a Ross. There are none on this side of the country. :(

Picked up a bunch of new stuff for my GL collection over the last couple days.

Finally got a good Kyle figure without having to pay the $30+ it usually goes for. Also picked up a couple Comic Con exclusives. I already have a Sinestro but I got it with the Hal figure I wanted for cheaper than either usually sells on its own. I will be putting the Sinestro on my B/S/T if anyone is interested.

I had not expected to get any of the others but I found them for DIRT CHEAP so it was hard to pass up.

Flip and Change Lockdown...The only one of these things I wanted!!! There was a new standalone AOE display at my Walmart today. He was the only one in the display (Full of Grimlock, OP & Drift) and the first one I have even seen in person...Good looking figure...for $15 the decision was easy. Must. Get. All. Things. Lockdown.

Shelf fullo Cobblepots here in KC...bout 10 from my count

In Las Vegas for the 4th and found wrecker for 9.99 and Mara jade at the Disney outlet...finally!! Still swinging on darth plageous.had the lady call the other outlets and no one had him neither.

I believe him and unmasked Keaton are refreshed in the case with Catwoman and Superman, as I've seen a couple of those figures when I found these.

The paint on both figure's faces is not bad at all. In fact, the refreshed unmasked Keaton from this newer case seems to have improved paint apps from what I can tell.

Finally saw the new movie Turtles in person. I don't like the basic ones quite as much as I thought. Their new costumes just make Playmates' modest paint apps more glaring and obvious. Too many unpainted details. The 11" turtles kick all kinds of ass, however. I'm starting with Raph because I think he turned out the best, with Donnie, Leo and Mikey ranking second best to last in that order.

I do like the basic Shredder, aside from the weird gouged-out eyes. I might fill 'em in and paint both eye areas as two giant red eyes, I think that might look pretty cool. And of course I finally found a Squirrelanoid!

I've also learned just how much of a pain in the ass it is to attach 1/6 scale molle pouches to a molle vest. FURY. FRUSTRATION. SUCCESS! *passes out*
