For me it's Hasbro's Archangel and, to a lesser extent, Galactus Series Nightcrawler.

Seeing as how I just started collecting ML last year, yes.

I want:

Archangel (Hasbro)
Nightcrawler
Colossus
Sentinels
Terrax
Madame Masque
Madame Hydra
Prof X
Magneto
Stryfe
Storm
Apocalypse (the BAF one)
Doc Ock
Vulture
Cyclops (80s)
Mr Sinister

Captain Nash 07-30-2016 08:10 AM

My only Holy Grail at this point is the SDCC X-Force set. I just can't justify paying over $100 a figure for it.

I do have BAF's I'm missing or partly have, but while I may have an interest in finishing them, they're not anything I would consider "holy'.

Not quite holy grails, but expensive to get,
Mandarin (no helmet), Jigsaw, baron Von Strucker, Kingpin and Mysterio.

Psylocke's looking good so far. Is the guy Cypher?

Tim 07-30-2016 09:20 AM

If anyone is looking for The new Deadpool you ought to check your Walgreens because i have found 5 there all ready and bought 2 of them. They only one i saw once was rogue which is weird.

Thanks.. The guy will be Morph when he's complete. I have a leather jacket for him.

PlayTime 07-30-2016 11:45 AM

That Psylocke is the bee's knee's. Too bad even the KO is so expensive.

I dont have any 'grail' but there are a lot of figures I missed out on that I would like to have been able to get at the time of release.

There are quite a few SDCC exclusives that I'd like (Satanna, Magik, and Hela off the top of my head), but I don't think I'd necessarilly label any as "grails" because I'm not actively searching for them.

Hey Starlord, what body are you using for that Psylocke...Warbird/Ms.Marvel? Is it kitbashed in any way?

It's just Warbird's body with a Scarlet Witch hand... I'll be adding a sword and her psychic knife effects when I'm done. This is just for my shelf so I'm not worried about her posing much but I am doing another one to sell. (shameless plug)

Starlord67 07-30-2016 12:46 PM

@redfox... Thank you. I love the head for Psylocke!! I hope HASBRO makes her eventually!I like my Japanese-by way of Britan-ninja psychics to be more muscular and beautiful. The Sdcc one just does not cut it for me.

That Psylocke looks fantastics my friend!

Speaking of Psylocke I really hope Hasbro re-releases the SDCC one in a future X-Men wave in perhaps a lighter shade of blue.

Starlord67 07-30-2016 01:11 PM

Thank you @theserpentking

Veronica Mars 07-30-2016 02:25 PM

At least I know the head works for Psylocke, looking good

richaveli83 07-30-2016 02:44 PM

These were the only ones I wanted from the set

I don't really have any grails because I pretty much have every Legend I've ever wanted but I really want the SDCC X-Force Psylocke and the Ares BAF. I refuse to spend the kind of money people are asking for them though.

Was thinking of using my Ms. Marvel for it when I was playing around with the possibilities, but I really don't like the size of the biceps and hips of that figure, as they are a bit large for my tastes. Was thinking of maybe using a Wasp body (sanding down the wing ports of course, which the hair is going to cover anyways) and just going with her All New X-Men look...

Great job on the purple drybrushing on her hair. It looks excellent!

Truthfully, on the Ms. Marvel body, Silk's head sits just a little low on the neck, so you might need to build the joint up a bit. Either that or my figure is just a bit different from everyone else.

It was on Facebook. Thought I would share. I'll stick with My Country. Texas.

Psylocke was mentioned during the Q&A's at Hasbro's SDCC panel. One of those times included Dwight Stall saying that Psylocke and Jean Grey were two of his favorite X-characters. He then questioned the audience on the idea of a 90's Psylocke. With those statements, I'd say she's got a good shot in the future.

Regarding the SDCC Psylocke, I really have no interest in it. The head-sculpt is quite nice, but that body is OBSOLETE.

*Sigh* This picture really hurts... In the past week, I've been all over looking for these figures...and BUPKIS. Glad for those who are actually finding them, though.

I'd like to see quite a few of those post-Dark Ages/pre-Infinite Series lady Legends be updated to current standards. Jim Lee Jean, Emma Frost, Black Widow could all use the same treatment that today's lady legends get.

Also, ordered a TB Nightcrawler from eBay. Could there be an updated Kurt in our future? Maybe. But Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Men and I need him NOW. Lol. Plus I doubt Hasbro would give him the articulation that the older figure has.
