The pants and head finally got here today. I know the pants aren't really the right color, but I couldn't find grey ones for less than $30. That's pretty ridiculous. I think it looks good as-is, at least until I stumble upon a cheaper grey option.

Yeah, in my area, I only spotted a few Waspinators. When he first hit stores, I saw two at Target, and they had terrible paint, unfortunately. A little later I spotted two more at Kroger, but decided I'd leave them for some bigger Beast Wars fans.
Oddly enough, I saw even fewer Goldbugs and Skids than Waspinators :(

Yeah I'm with you there, glad I grabbed Wasp and Skids though right away when I first saw thiem. Goldbug surprisingly didn't peg warm much either, considering he's BB.

Yeah, the Skids/Waspinator/Goldbug/Dreadwing wave was a fly by night wave. I saw them at Targets and TRUs and they disappeared and were restocked with the Scoop/Starscream/Thundercracker/Mini-con wave.

However, I am expecting them to pop up at retail later this year due to the case being re-released by Hasbro.

Not quite a toy...but I'm a huge Friday The 13th fan and collect all things Voorhees, so I was super stoked when my new custom hockey came in today for my next Jason Voorhees cosplay/costume project. I still have a ways to go with the costume itself, but should hopefully be done in time for Phoenix CC and SDCC next year! In the meantime, I can't wait to get this bad boy displayed on my shelf!

That looks great! Which movie look are you going for? Based on the mask, I'm going to guess it's the Part II version? I don't see a lot of the damage on it that he accumulated by the end of IV (and in V he got a new one). Also, I've pretty much blocked VI-IX from my mind, so I have no memory of what it looked like in any of those.

Yeah, I was also surprised about the lack of pegwarming for that wave - at least at first. Then I started hearing reports that the Goldfire version of the mold had better QC than the original Bumblebee version. Not to mention it technically wasn't a Bumblebee toy. Granted, that's splitting a really fine hair but I guess that's all collectors need sometimes to justify a purchase.

For me, I've always liked Bee's Goldbug body/persona (even going back to the G1 Throttlebot). Besides, I'm all-in on Generations so it didn't matter, anyway.

I saw it get stocked two or three times before the Scoop wave showed up (which itself has been restocked no less than 5 times now).

I got my two Blue Alien Warriors today. Honestly, I like them better than the brown ones. I know the brown ones are screen accurate, but the movie has always shown them with a blue tint and they have always been portrayed in the movie's artwork and disc covers as blue.

Why are we driven to collect?

Thanks for the compliment Trebleshot. I have a friend who makes these, mostly during the Halloween season, but I had an idea, and we started working on it together early to get the right look. Since I'm doing an original costume/crossover (look for this costume, the mask itself incorporates elements from many of the different masks and looks that Jason has had over the years. The mold itself is based off of the FvsJ mask (from FrightStuff), with the straps from part 6, the single triangle with no chevrons (also from part 6), the stress fractures and cracks (from part 7) with some broken off and burnt parts, especially around the eyes (part 9). Basically, I wanted it to look as if it had been through hell and back, as if it had taken a couple of shots to it from a lightsaber...*wink :D

Got my first Skeleton Warrior piece. Pumped about this one! I have a couple of Baron Dark figures coming in from the new Kickstarter that recently ended. Now I am trying to get the original series...An underrated show/line. Wish it lasted longer

Found this Falcon at The Disney store. They had 6 of him. Looked like they had gotten 2 cases of the repack asst. My friend who is a Captain America nut, is super happy I found him one.

Disney store was where I found my Falcon figure as well. I forget to check there sometimes, but whenever I do, I tend to get lucky.
