Bah Dormammu's quite a bit bigger than I'd like. I wanted the scale closer to MVC3 versus the rest of the cast.

I think a Death's Head body would suffice. Now the hard part; getting the head in scale.

Yaaaaaaas! As DarkToyLord commented above wave 3 is now in stock or at least arrived at BBTS. Got my confirmation email that says it's processing for shipping. so hopefully will be here by next week.

Love the series Samsson, always have enjoyed a crossover; Alien vs Predator, Avengers, that one time Doctor Who had all of David Tennants companions (including the spin offs).
I had a Pirates of the Caribbean/Hobbit/Star Wars/Marvel/DC/GI Joe series idea going, but nothing ever came of it

Awesome ideas. See this is why I collect both MU/MI and ML. ML the scale has to be set on their own, but the MU/MI meshes well with my Star Wars and GI JOE stuff. One day I'm going to actually get around to doing what I want to with it.

Same here SOB :P Dang and I just shipped my POL with them last week arg, cause didn't this get pushed to November for release? Oh well if I do still find this at HTS, I'll cancel it...Emma's back in stock for pre order.

Pilkster 10-07-2015 04:07 PM

So what does everyone think of the MU/MI name change and package change to Marvel Legends Series 3.75? I like the new packaging but still hate the articulation decrease

The packing looks good BUT...until I see how well it stands without falling forward I reserve my opinion.

Il Cattivo 10-07-2015 04:37 PM

meh..don't care, I just want the figures:)

UrsaMagnus 10-07-2015 04:39 PM

If the name change helps with the line/scale's exposure, then all the better.

Although an equal rationing of extra accessories and a BaF part would be ideal. Heck, they're damn near charging us full-Legends prices so we might as well get the full-Legends treatment.

kylactus 10-07-2015 05:47 PM

Hey Card art! and yet another rebranding! that last one went over so well! and we're back full circle to the toybiz days with legends 3.75" there is no way that will be confusing, like it was last time... I just wish they would, for once, pick a less ambiguous name for the line! ever google marvel universe? get specific! like Marvel collective, or Marvel spectrum.

I like it A LOT better than the current packaging. I hope we see some new reveals too, but I'm glad to get Ulik and Danvers. Is the Triton/Yondu buck the same as or different then the Vulture/armored daredevil buck? I now want that BAF onslaught since they are releasing the magneto type head too.

kylactus 10-07-2015 07:48 PM

ulik looks like he's one good head swap away from being Charlie 27.

Yeah, once I saw the magneto helmet; I'm going to have to get this wave to compliment my BAF final form Onslaught. I just don't want to like Legends, why do they have to come out with such cool BAF's?

Truth. Throw that harness on the Juggernaut body, new paint and head and we're solid.

Love it, that's how it should have been done! Heck I would love it if they re did the old stuff that they released on the Infinite line to that :P

kylactus 10-07-2015 08:35 PM

are the new cards numbered?

I don't know about that packaging...Something about it just seems REALLY unappealing to me...

On a side note, why couldn't they just call it Marvel Universe again? Must be another step in their plans for the 6 inch master race!

I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Rebranding gets them on shelves faster when there's a backlog like we have now because of the dock strike earlier this year.

Rebranding is what has kept transformers generations figures flowing in perfectly too. They've gone through even more rebrandings than MU has. From classics to now.

Every legends wave of the 6'' is technically a rebranding. (Each wave tied to a movie or other strong media connections helps push merchandise to retailers.)
Now MU is going through another to evolve with the brand to keep it going strong too. What's the problem with that?

And I can't say it's ever been hard to google the brand name either. Never had that issue on not finding the images I was looking for in relation to this line.

Toy Biz era is a smart thing to mimic. It wasn't until Toy Biz changed it up to inaction figures with heavy accessories that the lines started to tank. In fact they bought themselves some time from going belly up by re-releasing the old figures under a new heading with different paint apps. If these means back to the days of Toy Biz where it was 5-6 waves a year of 5-6 single carded figures, I'm all for it! Looks like a complete revival of MU underway tbh. Better card art, comic 2 packs are coming back, and the new figures are gorgeous as well as diverse. A little from everything Marvel. Heck, they've even now caught up to releasing all the figures from a spider-man game! Shattered Dimensions has now got all 4 protagonists in figure form! That's a store exclusive waiting to happen now.

I'm also a fan, liking that they have brought back the package art just seems like a bit more effort has gone into it than the plain infinite packaging, also think seeing as they have given them the legends name and the same back packaging they aren't trying to distance themselves from the 6 inch line. Maybe the infinite line wasn't selling as well under the rebranding so they thought change the name with legends in it and hopefully that might spark some more interest. Only thing i don't like is the "series" tag, isn't the 6 inch line a sort of Legends "series" something along the lines of maybe Legends Universe that's my thoughts anyway.

Universe 10-08-2015 04:40 AM

@Mutantkind
I think these are your best yet! Love that last one with the Deadpool swag; great pose-work.
