Not sure if this helps people but the LARP turtles and the Slash, Newtralizer and Rhazar figures are all at reasonable prices on Amazon.com

Awesome tip, Cobra, thank you! The Rahzar was actually 9 bucks, same as in stores. I have Amazon Prime with the 2 day shipping. So I should have these in on Saturday. Sometimes I get so ticked off that I can never find them in stores, even though it is more thrilling to find them there...

And, wow. After I ordered Rahzar the price went up to 17 bucks...Talk about just making it in time

I just saw Rahzar in person yesterday for the first time, not to bad on him. Kinda wish he was a little bigger. Same thing for Slash. Slash at least looks WAY better color wise in person. The package pics are totally different colors than the actual figure. The figure is closer to classic colors, where as the package pic on the back he is almost blue and bright yellow.

Absolutely. My wife cannot stand going to the same store more than once or twice a week. The idea of checking every day is insane to her. So paying a little more on Amazon and just having them is almost better than begging and pleeding to go to Walmart or Toysrus, which are all 10 mile drives at least...

I definitely hear that with some of the figures, scale wise. That is good to hear about the color though. I'm not always impressed with their color choices. And then there is the application that can be suspect.


I usually go once a week per store. But 3 are in one direction, and then I go and check 2-3 more in another direction. All 30+ minutes away. It gets so that when I walk into one TRU, they say hi to me and say, Oh back again? If they had the figures in stock, I would only be in a few times a year :P

Picked up MU A-Bomb and Cloak last night. Better late than never, I guess.

I'm glad to finally have Cloak and Dagger together at last. I kind of wish Cloak's um, cloak, was molded so it circled around him rather than fanning out like a cape, though.

I'm still not sure how I feel about A-Bomb the character (did Rick really need yet another power boost?), but the toy is good.

You would've never found DCUC wave 5 at Target,pretty sure it was a WalMart exclusive wave.

Picked up a storm trooper @ target and aim soldier from ebay.

After the ridiculous nonsense that was the botched distribution for the last two waves of G.I.Joe Retaliation figures, I cringed when I heard that the 50th anniversary figures were going to be SDCC and TRU exclusives. My local TRU is atrocious at getting in newer stock, and when they do, it's always short shipped. Not to mention, with the way that Hasbro effed' up on the Retaliation figures, I resigned to the fate that I would never see them in the wild, and preordered...

I meant that I never saw these in retail when they were new.

picked u some miworld mini packs so some of my figs can look like they hit up Dairy queen for lunch. 2 bucks you get a hotdog a sundae,shakes soda's. there was the nail salon ones too but I didn't get those or the claires jewelry. might pick up the actual playsets of these. especially if the make other stores.

what all are they gonna make in the 50th line? too bad night viper isn't green! would luv to see them do gi joes 6" like the SW black series 6" imo :D

I'm no math wiz, but didn't the G.I Joe 25th line come out like eight ears ago? lets see... 25+8.... nope not 50.

That was A REAL AMERICAN HERO (the 3.75" figures) 25th.
This year is GI JOE's 50th, from the 12" tall figures back in 1964-now.

Got some more TMNT in to finish off the LARP figures. These are pretty cool looking! And my first Skeleton Warrior figure, Shriek.

The only other figures I've seen announced for the 50th line other than the two I picked up were two three packs. One featured a Cobra Trooper, Cobra Viper, Beach Head, while the other featured Destro, Leather Neck and Hawk. In addition to those, they were also releasing two vehicle packs, one of them featuring the Cobra Night Landing Craft and the Vamp MK2 (yet again), while the second vehicle pack paired an artic version of the Sky Hawk and the Cobra Wolf.

I have the green Night Viper, and while I liked it, it looked a bit too much like the Jungle Viper from POC line, only with less in the way of accessories. I actually like this red Night Viper a lot. The red on him was a lot darker than I expected, as most of the pictures of him released made him look more orange than red. He fits in perfect with the current Alley Viper red and black color scheme, and with him being a sniper, it really makes him look like an individual part of a specialized Cobra spec ops unit, even if they all are wearing the impractical bright red! But hey...that's Cobra for you!
