^ Is that Helix's head? Damn, maybe I should try that too... I hate MU Psylocke's head.
|
Hey VM, did that picture just change or am I literally going crazy now?
|
It is helix's head and I found a better picture in my photobucket

I really had to talk myself out of that one. She was going to start making me sleep under them "so they can attack you all night, those things scare the shit out of me. They're alive" she said |
SWEET! THere's this clear glow in the dark paint you can get at crafts stores- pit a tiny pinprik of it into all your ML figs and have them stare at her all night....

Great work on those customs Veronica Mars!
Hmmm that Clear Invisible Woman Variant is just screaming for customization , either for a half invisble/solid Sue with a leg swap/ arm swap or upper torso swap or its DIAMOND form Emma Frost. |
Love those customs VM Lorna is quality!!! And that Spawn Alley looks great with those Tech Deck sets LM!! Just in case someone missed it,does anyone have any tips/advice on how to split the large MU torsos??

Marvel 3.75" Appreciation Thread
3 weeks ago I gave up looking (can not count the months!) for two MU figures, MU's Warpath (either version) or Archangel (either version)! So, I purchased Warpath (red) and Archangel (reg) online! 2 weeks ago I went to LCS and found 2 MU Archangel (reg)! Got around to opening my package that got online about a 2 week ago, and to my surprise, I get the Warpath (red) and Archangel (Gold face, but I ordered the regular version of him)! Oh, well...I guess I have the live with the gold face version of Arch! Happy hunting, Arkers! Will post pics later!
|
@ yukon how much you payed for Archangel ? My LCS is asking for $40 for Gold Face Archangel , if you payed less than that then you got yoself a deal.
|
@ proteus I heard something about boiling or heating the figure and using something like flat head screwdriver ( small one ) , inserting it at the armpit cavities until u hear a pop or something that tells you that a separation has occured. Now I havent tried this as Im afraid that I would only damage the figure. Goodluck!

Anyone here has a spare Loki staff from the avengers line? I need one to go with my comic Loki but cant justify buying a full figure just for that staff. I can trade a couple of M16s with that, as that is the only thing I have extras of, then there is also my underwear i have extras of those too but I highly doubt you guys would want that. :p

Conceptually what we want to do is weaken the glue holding the torso halves together and carefully separate them, retaining the peg integrity for reassembly. I use the boil and crack method, you'll need a pot of boiling water (just barely boiling, not molten lava hot) I also use a small 2 1/2 inch capacity bench vise, like this one: http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...375ac1_300.jpg I pad the jaws of the vise with a couple layers of old t-shirt cut into rectangles.
There ya go! |

$20 shipped for 4 of these :) http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/...7/87249617.jpg Something to put us back on topic , I appreciate MU!!! |
Tempting, do they come in any other colors? Besides brown and yellow?

Too much awesome for one pic: Storm Shadow!
So many accessories, even the throwing dart pouch has a removable dart! Reminds me of Lowlight's ammo box with the removable bullet! Hasbro almost always scores a home run with Joes, and this newer hand/finger orientation is possibly the best for figures with accessories. Plus the wrist joints rock! Anyway, some pics! http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...g/P4050059.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...g/P4050057.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...g/P4050060.jpg |
Great figure, for certain, but it's not Marvel. Post those pics in the Modern G.I.Joe thread here.
