That Gamora is absolutely shameful. It is the knock-off Black Widow buck painted up as Gamora. You can see the zipper protruding from her "skin". *shudders*

I'm sure they do smell just as bad.

Glorious pic of the Masters.

I like the Bandaii Tamshij stage act 4 for humanoids flight stands. Just google those, I think Amazon has a set of 3 for like $20, you can use them for 6" scale too.

I need to figure out what to use as normal stands. I want a bunch of those clear round stands, can't recall the name off hand.

Has no one noticed that's a Knock off version of Movie Legends Loki body used for Starlord? That's an odd choice.

Kamatayan 10-13-2015 04:34 AM

Now that I look at it, and take the whole terrible smell into consideration, I simply wouldn't buy a knockoff. I just get bad vibes from them to begin with. I think it's because growing up, I was always aware of knockoffs and whenever I would get them for holidays, I would genuinely feel like puking. Does anyone else feel that way about knockoffs?

Of course, there are a handful of knockoffs that are actually pretty good. Like those Lego one's that come in the little boxes and the MU bootleggers on eBay. But even the Lego one's aren't very good because it makes you feel kind of guilty because the makers of it sometimes steal the designs from Lego customizers.

Quick review of the Marvel Bandai Disk Wars figures, let me know what you think and if you would like to see any figure in particular reviewed or compared to anything else.

Thanks!

Psycho Pirate 10-13-2015 11:27 AM

Interesting. My Wolverine does not have a hole in his head.

(Must be his healing factor.)

Can I see Thor's cape from the back, please?

Also, you sound like you are from my neck of the woods.

Yeah only those two of my bunch had the holes, I haven't seen War Machine or Wolverine in hand so I wouldn't know. I will snap a pic of Thor's cape tonight.

I really enjoyed talking about the figures so I will probably be uploading more review videos until it gets boring to me.

What is funny is I'm from Louisville, KY but recently moved to Indianapolis for work. Ironically my Mom moved to Rome, GA about 5 or 6 years ago. So I am in your neck of the woods at least once a year now. I went to a Gamestop in Rome with my GF and she said they made my accent sound like I was from the North, lol. I used to hate my recorded voice, but now I hate my broken nose way more! I haven't been able to breath since I broke my nose playing little league basball.

so is this emma frost wave, the last "infinite" wave before they switch to legends?and how is distribution of the emma frost wave looking stateside?all i can find is force unleashed stuff, everywhere :(

Universe 10-13-2015 04:08 PM

I haven't seen any in the wild as of yet.

Got my last two from the wave; as much as I love the thrill of finding them in the wild, I like saving money on gas and went the online route.

Yes the next wave will be re-branded. Haven't seen any in stores yet. My Emma's sold first pretty quick. Just have Northstar, Korg and Chameleon left.

fosterlager 10-13-2015 06:07 PM

I'll try and catch this wave on HTS. They've been good for MU for me in the past.

3. Size: approx. 12-21cm = 4.7"~8.5" in height

XThose GotG are ML sized, not MU. Shame, as the Groot looks decent. The Gamora's passable for a cheap fig.

Sweet displays man, love it when you share.

@MUfan, nice sandman effect. Where is that from?

*sigh* I'm considering getting them for the Rocket. Maybe if I can get a professional to paint it it wold look decent.

With the success of the last movie I hope Hasbro will make a GOTG 3 3/4" Movie line for GOTG Volume 2.

kylactus 10-14-2015 06:51 AM

is anyone else thinking these recent "miss pricings" at Target aren't an accident? the Ultron three pack at 28$, last year the TMNT sewer play set was like 15$, and I'm always seeing them get SKU#s messed up and clearance racking new merchandise. you never see stuff like this go down at Wallmart or TRU.

K Dubious 10-14-2015 07:08 AM

Thats because Target uses DCPI numbers. They have had the 3 pack DCPI in the system since the Cap. 3 pack with Ms. Marvel and Radioactive man. So even though they have a new 3 pack the system sees that DCPI as extremely old and clearanced out of the system.

I think they are just too lazy to try and update them to new ones based on the barcode.

Plus from what I remember Wal-mart has one of the most advanced Real-time inventory systems, meaning that if they sell down to a certain quantity the system automatically places an order for more. That type of system is tracking individual pieces and not just blanketing them all together.

kylactus 10-14-2015 07:26 AM

yeah, but by now someone has to have noticed this! you'd think if they wanted to fix it they would have by now. hell last year when all of the TMNT sewers went from 90 to 15 and sold out in one day someone would have to catch hell for that. I'm just wondering if it's a way to give savvy shoppers a sale without having a sale.
