I'm stoked for the Wave 18 news. I may preorder these just to get a jump on retail.
While I'm here, I hope you don't mind my pimping my custom thread: Justice League (MU Style) - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com http://i933.photobucket.com/albums/a...ngerbattle.jpg |

People just tend to forget the past when looking to the future.
Plus it didn't help that the waves got shuffled a bit. The psylocke wave is really wave 1 of 2012 (New packaging), and we usually do get a long pauses between feb-april with releases in a movie year. Sometimes even not in a movie year as the only real shopping holiday in that time frame is easter anyway. The summer sometimes picks up speed because of various reasons(kids home from school, vacations where kids often get a toy for road trips or while on the road, etc) and then the fall/winter time frame rapidly speeds up because of the holiday shopping season. Spring just has that lull until about easter, and first quarter winter has that refreshment period from recuperating from the holiday shopping season. People are just quick to panic because of how much they love the line, but they need to remember the previous years before getting worried. We've also been spoiled by getting the following year's first wave early, which usually puts us on wave 2 before that spring slowdown. |

I think I'm about to cave on getting Gladiator finally.
With the new wave coming up, I have no more excuses on putting gladiator off. With Beta Ray Bill nearly here and nova sometime this year, I need to start building up the Annihilators and other cosmic marvel I've been putting off. Can't wait to start seeing pics of what people do with their marvel cosmic. |

Can't wait to get FF Spider-man, Beta Ray Bill, Beast, and Scarlet witch. After that wave, I think my avengers collection is down to just needing Mockingbird and the new Ms. Captain Marvel. My cosmic is nearing completion too once Blackbolt and Nova come out. Then all I'll need there is Modern Quasar and Rom. I really hope that She-Hulk figure gets a Red She-hulk variant. I'm probably going to skip the green she-hulk in favor of having red she-hulks for a defenders line up. |

I've heard that Thanos was going to be at the movie's end- which might account for the Infinity Gauntlet prop they made and showed at Comicon before Thor hit theatres. |

What we do know for fact is it's not the kree and not the skrulls. That only leaves the Disir which do serve under Loki(and fit the inbetween realms remarks), the Badoon, the sons of muspell, Ultimate Thanos(dimensional alien, which fits the criteria), or undead mutated Korbinites. Thanos or the badoon are possible but likely to have been pushed back to a different movie so they can use the GOTG movie to push it forward first. Looking at the toy roster, Thanos isn't in this one at all or we'd get a figure of him. The TBD figures we've been told are troop builders of the alien armada. A movie-verse version of the Disir makes the most sense, and this movie would decimate their ranks enough to knock them down to around 11 or so remaining for future usages. The infinity gauntlet was just an easter egg. It might be used later, but probably not something for the avengers. Though Ultimate Thanos and his cosmic cube do also fit the movie-verse story. The Disir just fits the appearance and the story alterations fit the same alterations made to thor's realm. This makes them aliens, have technology, and be larger in number thanks to the thor story changes. --------------------- New Nova has just warmed up on me. He kind of annoyed me in his first appearance, but now I gotta admit they hit a soft spot for me when Marvel started suggesting he's from St Louis. I just can't dislike a superhero that's obsessed with the cardinals. I definitely want a figure of him now to go with the Richard Ryder nova coming later. |

Stopped by Wal Mart last night, nothing new single cardwise but they had the Gambit/Sinister, Thanos/Warlock and DD/Bullseye cps. Working on fixing up Gambit. I switched the coat with DCIH Hush and I swapped his arms with Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow, next is to fix his lower legs
