That spear is from the gi joe outnumbered rock rampage/rock viper figure. I'm not sure why I gave that to the swat member, I think I had him fighting a zombie or something.

Ahhh no wonder. I haven't bought that set yet. Then again I really don't want it but I do want a few good spears guess I'll check if any molders have it.

He killed articulation. You bastard!

Will we see it this year or will it be late winter/spring?

Also, "what team/ where to display" Emma? Just wondering where you guys are putting her.

I was of the understanding that this would be the last wave, what with it coming soon late.
Next wave is Executioner, Rogue, & Vision isn't it? Or is it Scarlet Spider & Goldtron?

I'll be sticking Emma with my Cabal. Feels kinda awkward sticking her in the X-Men with Jean there too.

A little love for Samsson

I seem to remember doing that pic a while back,, you can see my poor Microsoft Paint erased edges. Did you trawl back or save it back then?

When/if he's ever released I'll kitbash it together with the Heroic Age Thor body. He's massive, got those giant broad shoulders Skurge had in EMH. Much wider than the Herc buck he's on.

@Ukmu, you've exceeded your PM limit, I can't reply

And a parting shot of our hero.... Dwight Stall

"Parting?" Did he just die or something?

Ha, we wish his career with Hasbro would do so. I believe he meant Parting as in UKMU was signing off for the night.

^ the 6" stuff is peg warming hard, I wouldn't be surprised if they let him go soon.

I know right. I want that Vanishing act set just for the crossbow that comes with zartan but I realized I don't want to pay $19.99 just for a 1/18 scale crossbow, but I would love an MU Daryl Dixon. If u find a castor I can always mail that little spear out.

Does anyone know, did Vonner actually leave of his own accord, or was Humpty Dumpy pushed? I feel that Vonner was all about the best figures whatever, while Stall is all about profits and moneys

I heard that he was fired because of cutbacks or whatever at Hasbro.

Yes, cool! I'll get on it...I love the feeling of just looking for that rare figure man! It's addictive, lol! I'm lost here, there's like 3 pages to catch up. I'm so exited because I just got an awesome deal on almost all the DBZ SH Figs (wrong thread) from this seller so I can't wait to receive them all!!

kylactus 10-17-2015 10:08 PM

Score, just don't let it steal you away from us, BTW you got me on the DC 3.75 train, then they derail it! I got the grundy, crock, and clayface packs the day before the cancelation was announced. I'm still looking for the bane death stroke wave, where have you been seeing them?

Lol, cool. ToysRus, Walgreens only here in my area. Deathstroke only once though. Everything else several times.

deathofthelines 10-17-2015 11:39 PM

Sweet, it never occurred to me to check there, and I always buy a bunch of blu-rays from them.

Good find, looks like it's sold out now, at least deathstroke is.

Yeah, the 89 Batman had gotten the line my full support, and then they switched the scales...JUST as they started making Arrow and Flash figures! I really wanted highly articulated 3 3/4 inch figures of those two!

But we're getting off topic here.

Yeah I listened to his interview on marvelous news and he said he was laid off by hasbro and said that when the economy turned south the overall sales went down and they had to let people go if I remember right. I hope we see him back at the bro soon, he just seems like a cool guy and his line is what got me into collecting. I watch interviews with stall and he seems so awkward sometimes and I don't care for his attitude for the 1/18 scale.

Marvelicious Toys - The Marvel Universe Toy & Collectibles Podcast

UKMU posted this interview a long time ago if I remember right. I'll have to give it another listen when I commute to work.

I think the dc stuff is somewhat on topic, especially considering the crossovers dc and marvel have done. Make mine marvel! And dc... And sometimes image lol.

Speaking of which...

Anybody got a spare Avengers 1/AoU Widow... or at least just the head? I'm tired of going back to common-as-dirt figures for fodder and finding them for nutso prices online ($16 loose? REALLY? I bought them for $6 a piece at one point).

I still can't believe that kids these days are talking about the Guardians as if they're Spider-Man. With Phase 3 coming up there's going to be a huge shift in terms of which heroes kids praise now. I remember when I was 6 that I was ranting to the bullies in my school and that they weren't true Marvel fans because they didn't know people like Strange and what-not. I heard about all the lesser known guys from my brother and some old Marvel sticker-books. They recorded the whole rant and it's rotting in someone's DS to this day xD

Just think about it. Kids running around with Captain Marvel and Doctor Strange figures. It will be a whole new age.

Yeah, they will be huge Guardian fans as mainstream and only hardcore Marvel ankle biters will know of the X-Men...., it is the age we live in I guess.
