So if what you guys are saying about the Deadpool bootleg on eBay is true then wouldn't he be more of a variant rather than a bootleg?

Not a variant, not really a Bootleg. They're just loose figures Hasbro didn't want.

Are your Spider-Senses tingling?

Man am I glad that the new wave is finally shipping, hopfully in about a month or so I can pull the entire wave off HTS. I'm not gonna lie I am a bit nervous about Emma, but I know I will find her one way or another.

UKMU - I plan to put Emma with my Astonishing X-men since she more or less completes that team

Yeah too bad that HTS code expires today I believe, would have liked to use it on the newest wave.

Walmart does have an extensive inventory system.

Similar practices as say TRU and Target for the inventory ordering. It's not automated. Well, not fully at least. It's supposed to be but there are still employees that put in the orders based on their own criteria in conjunction to the rest of the sales data they have. It's done this way because there are factors on releases that computer data alone can't do, but once you factor in the human element is also where bigger problems start popping up too.

Walmart's inventory system is different though than TRU's. Walmart does track cases by individual figures though they order by the case. Walmart has more accurate sales data as to which characters themselves sell and how fast, but how much that data effects their ordering has never been reflected and there's no data to correlate if it impacts what they ask for on orders.

Toys R Us on the other hand has an inventory system that goes by case assortments/toy lines. Essentially if there's more than 1 character per case, it all has the same inventory number. This is why when a new assortment shows up at TRU it's not always in the system. The old number hasn't been synced up to the new assortment yet. (The TRU DCPI hadn't been assigned to that toyline wave's barcodes yet.)

For a store that's supposed to specialize in toys, they do have the weakest inventory system out of the major retailers.

No kidding, totally agree with you there. You would think they would be able to restock a plenty instead of 2-3 months out is what it seems like on the hot stuff.

MK...it's not just the visuals...you come up with cool\clever ideas as well....

I got an awesome idea in class today.

So what if we all pitched in to get some type of grail item and then raffle it off. Like each participant has to give $10 to the referee or whatever and each $10 gets you one raffle. And on the raffle day to make sure it isn't rigged the referee will share screens with us on Skype and use some randomizer website to determine the winner. But the ref wouldn't be allowed to participate.

I was thinking that the prize could be the Super Helicarrier or something like that. I was also thinking about solid Vision but I think that most of you already have him.

We'd have to raise $200 for the SH which would take 20 people assuming we all only give $10. Of course there will be some of you who will give more than $10. But if you're giving more than $10 then it has to be $20 and $30 if you're giving higher than $20 and so on.

KDub could be the ref since he already has the SH.

We can work out the rest later of you're all interested.

No thank you sir, I'll put my $10 to the side and save up for a Super Helicarrier.

It must be interesting living in this guy's bubble wherein only one scale can exist.https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I...8-d/15%2B-%2B1

Psycho Pirate 10-20-2015 03:03 PM

3.75" are action figures. 6" or higher are dolls.

Dolls are dolls, 6" or higher figures are just figures that eat up twice the space as 4" ones. :p

Semantics. They're all dolls and all action figures. It's the same thing.

Inaction figures aren't though. Those are statues.

The Diamond Select one from BTTF2 is 1:15 scale and a little big for the figs but they fit comfortably inside.

I have an idea I just gotta break out the parts but haven't felt too good lately so it'll have to wait till the weekend or even next week depending on work and family stuff. Again your pics are amazing and set a high standard.

Damn your Dp even has the almanac!!!

Odd that some of these doll collectors keep calling for the 3.75" figures to be cancelled. Haters.

Wouldn't that be funny if the Cubs actually did win the World Series.

It is totally illogical since they don't even buy 3.75 inch figures.

Oof! They have to win 4 in a row now. :(
