Unreleased period.

I've only ever seen 2.

regarding the fix?i have a spare GI-JOE and Black widow body,i was thinking of switching some parts onto one of those, whichever one works best.

Crazy. My LCS told me to email Hasbro and they may send me a replacement, however the box was tossed so I don't know...I suppose the worst thing they could do is say no!

I think it was you who mentioned the screw for the ball joint neck a while back. I only have one MU Black Widow but I may see what I can do, since I like the Avengers one better anyways...Thanks bro!

jaybird7072 01-12-2013 07:56 PM

Anyone have a extra sdcc red skull :)

StarWarsPaul 01-12-2013 07:57 PM

Has to will probably offer to replace it. But it is usually with a product of equal value, so they'll replace it with whatever MU figure they have laying around. It's happens to me in the past.

rea1180 01-12-2013 08:23 PM

A random trip to TRU today turned up a buy 1 get 1 50% off which yielded comic and movie versions of Avenger Hawkeyes.

kylactus 01-12-2013 08:40 PM

Hey guys, new here, been observing for a few months. thought this might be the place to pass the long long months between new product shipments, been collecting MU sence the begining, and all the 3.75 lines. Has anyone else herd rumors that the MU lines ending? if so where do they come from? just nervous i guess.....

Those rumors pop up from time to time but there has never been any truth them. I think people just worry when new stuff isn't shown for a few months but then boom, we get something that was never announced like the West Coast Avengers pack. There certainly has been a shift in the line and it may get canceled some day but they keep putting out new stuff. Hasbro cleaning house last year really looked bad and changed things but I believe the line makes money for them and they are happy with that for now.

kylactus 01-12-2013 09:26 PM

I'd tend to agree, its the only current toy line i know of that consistantly sells out at retail. I just hope we get a lot more waves this year. 2012 kinda sucked we got fewer numbers but more original molds and, i think the quality improved. so i guess its the old quality vs quantity argument. but i'm greedy i want both.

kylactus 01-12-2013 09:29 PM

and please!!!!!! a comic acurate DR. Octopus in the MU line. (original duds)

Wave 18/19 were definitely some of the best in terms of characters, although all the broken Punishers were annoying. My problem was that most of local stores stopped carrying MU or never order any more in. We got tons of wave 17 last January and then nothing at all three TRU's until close to Christmas. Even one of the TRU's has had a single Iron Fist on the pegs since summer and they still haven't restocked.

kylactus 01-12-2013 10:59 PM

yeah the restock times are rediculous. I ran into the ordering chick from hasbro at my local walmart, all she was doing was sliding everything forward on the pegs to make them look full. we've had the same three Dr.Stranges two Gladiators and an X-23 on the pegs sence last Jan. and Ive noticed we went from six racks to three.... gotta fit more Amazing Spiderman Aqua armors in there!

Ninjinister 01-12-2013 11:14 PM

I hear ya there. I think my Fred Meyer has sold one Spider-Man figure since October (I bought Invisi-Skin Lizard) and they just keep adding more pegs. It went from 3 to 5. But all of the first 3 are the same ones that have been there since then.

kylactus 01-12-2013 11:32 PM

sometimes I just dont get it, its like Hasbro is puting together the formula for perfect failure, make a great line of quality product that a large number of people demand and don't distribute it. seriously i think this whole line exists to give me an anurism. And Toys R Us, dont think we didnt notice you didn't put the good s**t out untill after the buy one get one free sale on black... uh, thursday, friday, saturday?

I am looking for a Blue Goliath and the Masters of Evil set. If any one has these I would be interested in trading for an Anti-Venom set

MADREVJACK 01-13-2013 05:00 AM

I've known TJ for over a year and bought or traded with him a few times. He is an excellent seller/ trader. I have always been very very happy with our transactions.

He's a freakin really nice dude too!

Known him through the tank, they call me Destro's Son there....

i figured the LCS would just pass the buck to hasbro and seeing as im an international collector(northern europe),im not sure if hasbro would respond to me about this issue, but im prepared to just try and fix the problem myself.its very seldom that this kinda thing happens to me,so im easy just to let it slide this time.

I'll let it go too, I'm not that concerned. Gives me a reason to customize for a vampire Jubilee!!!

Just noticed something cool. The Spider-Man that was released in wave 19 (I think) is a black variant...I just read the Marvel NOW! Spider-Man #1, which has the same costume! Do you think Hasbro did this on purpose, knowing that the Doc Ock Spidey was right around the corner?

bmorr 01-13-2013 10:23 AM

unless i'm mistaken, isn't the black and red scheme from his first appearance?

Ninjinister 01-13-2013 11:19 AM

Superior Spider-Man has a few differences, like eyelenses, claws on fingers, tabi-like boots, and I think one other thing. Pointy elbows, maybe? I can't recall.

I love that costume. I have him MOC on my wall. I think the black kinda hides the wonky ass torso.

That said, the showdown spidey painted like that guy would be THE best spiderman imo.
