King Raf actually found the Superman for me at a time they were scarce around my parts..(come to think of it..i've NEVER seen one in retail) the downside is his stupid arm broke off while trying to move it..GRRR...just never glued it back yet.

*SIDE NOTE* ...i talked myself down from going to the NJCC today... as much as i wanted to go...I'm trying to cut back. After a lot of back and forth in my mind..i resisted..... see..SMALL STEPS....
BUT...there is a convention in Newark, NJ next week that i've never been too....might swing through that one..

That's what exactly happened to me! Joker i had no problems with. But when trying to take superman out of package his damn hand broke off with me not even moving it, which was a pisser. I'm going to find you a joker and send it to you cuz he is badass. He is my favorite of the three also got keaton bats and he is okay.

Well good for ya. Glad you got to draw Old naked men and fat women.

"DO YOU WANNA GET NUTS?! C'MON.....Lets get nuts!" My favorite scene in the movie...except the beauty and the beast comment. ;)

lol Kind of. <Sideshow Bob-like shivering>

So when do you think Hasbro will reveal the remaining figures of the next Spidey wave? I'm going to guess sometime this week and I'm betting Sandman is the BAF. I just hope the other figure in the wave isn't another Spider.

As for the X-Men wave, I just realized there were only 5 figures revealed. They said the wave is going to be 8 figures again right? I wonder what the other three figures are then.

I dunno but id rather get a spider slayer and have a normal sized sandman in the line.

I agree there, but that isn't going to happen, sadly. They wouldn't have sculpted that head without an intention to reuse it.

I know exactly how you feel. I already burnt out my collecting budget. I considered going just to look around but I know I would give in. It's like making a recovering alcoholic run a bar.

the color are nice, the paint app looks awesome...it's done very well....but it's just not an outfit of hers i care for...(i know its your fav!!)
it's like most Neca figures to me.. Love to see em , but don't want to own em (actually don't want to purchase because if someone gave them to me i'd gladly take em)

Truthfully, the very first X-Men comic I ever read was issue #269, which happens to be the issue where Rogue battles the essence of Ms. Marvel (who is possessed by the Shadow King if I remember correctly.) I just remember looking at the cover, and thinking "whoa...that chick in green is really hot!" and that's the look that has stuck with me ever since.

I really like her black with green tank top look as well (the one coming for the Marvel UNIVERSE line...sorry...they will never be "Legends" Hasbro,) but I'm customizing the hell out of that head when I pick her up. That version of Rogue wore her hair closer to a mullet...not a mohawk. The green and yellow/bomber jacket look is probably my third favorite, but not by much to the look I just mentioned.

No tape...I haven't been able to master that technique yet without pulling off the paint. Any linework is a combination of a steady hand and an expensive brush. I really need to master the tape technique though, the custom I am working on now was giving me absolute fits last night, and I'm probably going to have to take some liberties with the costume design as a result. That's why we call them "customs" though...right?

Starlord67 08-14-2016 01:05 PM

My very last Dazzler custom... I used a new Rogue jacket and upper arms... I like it so much better than the old cloth ones. Glad I picked up an extra rogue!
