Lol, bunnies/kitties aren't MU appreciation.

Puppies and rainbows slide because of Ms. Lion in Mary Jane's pack, and the rainbow bridge thing that comes with Heimdall. ;)

Haha.

So when can we expect the next avengers 3.75 wave 3? I want that black widow figure. Maybe combine it with the mu one so I can have a black widow with elbow swivels. Also need another nick fury.

Snowflakian 04-12-2012 02:58 PM

Toys R us does have a room rainbow projector that could make for a killer thor dio. xD

As for Bunnies, well I'm sure there's something in the pet avengers or spider-ham's universe that'd count. Ditto to Kitties which also have Black Cat, Black Panther, White tiger, and more.

I really hope it's soon, but fear it's after the movie is released. Cap and Thor's Waves 3 and 4 equate to bad news if they follow the lead of those series with the Avengers...

well, we have seen this type of distribution in the last three major movie/toylines...

Thor

Captain America

and

Iron Man 2

Figures we would actually buy being buried over by all the crap they initially put out that sits on the pegs, that no one is buying...then we miss out on the decent stuff (or so they look)...or maybe thats the problem...we just want a shot at these (good or not) we just dont like that we never get these later wave figures, because of all the hanging excess...

updated my Gambit...changed his trench coat for the hush figure trench coat. Looks much better. few arkers have done this..i had to aswell ..lol

Nexodusrex 04-12-2012 03:55 PM

you guys think MU needs a gimick to sell more? Its selling here, but I just feel what with Bakugan and Skylanders and all those other interactive game toys that MU would benefit with like, an online code for online fun. essentially what we had the first year but you get more out of it

eh, I am thinking they probably got rid of that, b/c the codes werent used very much, just my opinion...

yeah but a gimick would help. if I had to sacrifice a little articulation in exchange for a gimick that would increase sales for it, I am all for it. Like the rocker neck and ankles

shortysben 04-12-2012 04:12 PM

Ive got a gimmick for MU...stands, accessories, and alt. heads...those would work...

Edit: Hell, I would even be down for MU BAF...

NoodleChow 04-12-2012 04:16 PM

yeah no thanks, those are almost vastly different markets. give me more stuff to put on the toy or more articulation but don't sell me less and a code for some online thing i won't play. =P

You could add some thick guage gutiar string too- makes great mechanical hoses...and assorted parts cut up from old Beast wars figs makes great mechanical debris once painted- most flea markets have loose toys that are ripe for parts plunder!

Also, if you want to get serious with it, take a ruler and a dull x-acto and scribe some cla marks down it- maybe drill some blast holes in there too- just take some black wash to the areas around them for scortch marks...

Could be an epic project!

Agreed. I hate that retail overloads on the first wave of movie release figures and then they have no room for the 2nd, 3rd waves. This was done with thor, iron man, and avengers line. The cap line wasn't as bad since the later waves were mostly pajama pants cap with exception to the variant og colored hydra goons. So I've heard black widow and hawkeye are wave 3 and nick fury is wave 4. Correct me if I'm mistaken. Any future comic release characters?

One of us, one of us, lol. I think its the way the collar is on hush's coat that makes gambit look more comic accurate.

I also feel like Mr. Sinister needs an accessory besides his cape.

LapuLapu 04-12-2012 04:43 PM

Man the new comic packs are hitting retail but none to be found in my area. Please awesome Toy gods let the new comic packs hit Lord Marvel's stores so he can provide us the necessary plastick crack that his fellow arkers are desperately in need of amen. ( Lord Marvel if youre reading this , please hook a brother up por favor! )

Jason Abbadon 04-12-2012 04:49 PM

That exact trenchcoat is avalable from fellow-Arker Virtuous!

Keep everything damnit. My favorite thing about MU when I started collecting was the envelopes and little letters you can read.

Looks great. Ever since I did this to mine I ended up liking it better than Sinister. Now I just need the heart to cut off the cards off of Bullseye.

Awesome. Good looking out there JA. I'm going to pick some up for my Fantomex, Multiple Man, Nick Fury, and future Wesker custom.

I miss the envelope cards. The letter were cool for the effect, the card art was great on these ones, and I love the bio card that shows the character's attributes. I'd rather have the envelopes back vs. the stupid card art crap.

Me too. Just a tip for ya, you can make gambit's cards out of styrene. Just take your pick of what thickness you want and get a fine tip red felt pen. A lot easier than cutting up the old Bullseye hand.

Starscream99 04-12-2012 06:10 PM

Awesome! Thanks for the tip! Where can I buy styrene though?

Its like construction paper but a bit more sturdy. Any hobby shop should have it or even Michael's Arts and craft store. I've used it on a bunch of customs. Here it is on Amazon.
Amazon.com: Styrene Sheets, White, .040 x 7.6" x 11" (4): Toys & Games

Starscream99 04-12-2012 07:11 PM

Awesome! Thanks!

DogFashionDisco 04-12-2012 07:12 PM

Now that you guys mention it, I just found a bunch of those old envelopes the other day. I'll have to look through them and see which ones I have. I liked them a lot too, apparently enough to stash them away.
