My friends, on this fathers day, I found the minimates stash of all stashes at a comic shop. Back room digging through boxes stash. A " I don't have any boxes for all these , can I put them in a bunch of bags?" stash! Pics to come soon....

This is my haul today. This is probably the biggest find I've been collecting comics and toys. All bought today from one shop, and like I said , I left some stuff behind.This shop had whole boxes of minimates that where un-opened. He gave me a box knife and was like " have at it". He still has sooo much stuff left, I only took one of everything ( besides variants ) .

Yeah, no kidding! The guy at the register was all smiles with every new box that I put on the counter. Im picking up a OT shift this week so that should cover the damage$.

Kdawg- ill open them eventually, just need to find room to display them properly. I'm going to have to shuffle my cases around.

ok so i saw these at toys R us this past week and i thought they would be cool for Minimates. they mount to the wall and are stackable. what do you guys think?

That is a great idea, Good thing minis are lego compatible :)
I should not say this but it took me about 15-20 minutes to figure out how to open one of those cases. I did not look at the directions and neglected to see the button on top. Felt like a complete idiot.

overall i'm pretty happy with the case. they are expensive if you have a large collection. 22.00 each. but i can expand slowly and it's not so bad.

i'm thinking of putting little mirror behind each character. i saw somone who installed lights and it looked pretty sweet

That would be cool. They do have the half size $9 ones too. But as it has always been, legos are expensive.

I might swipe that idea for the ones I have. My collection isn't nearly as epic as some of yours, but then I have quite a few rules in place to make sure I don't go overboard on them. Below is a small list of those rules...

You could limit what you buy. I only pick up 2-packs when there is a particular character that I really like in the set (even better when I really want both), but I really try to avoid the OCD urge to buy them all (I also try to ignore collecting teams or army-building).

To-date, my Minimate collection consists of the following: Deadpool, Dante (from DMC), Taskmaster, Bionic Commando (gave him to my daughter), Hulkbuster Iron Man, Gamma-Powered Hulk, MK V Iron Man (IM2) and War Machine (IM2).
