Bandai showed off a Master Asia from G Gundam in 2009 and released him in 2014. That was five years after he was first on display. Bandai has also shown off ranger figures for their Sentai line and then never bothered to complete the teams. As such, the stuff with Dragon Ball is nothing new. It could be 2020 before we actually see that Yamucha and Tenshinhan come out.

Considering the Destructo Disc that came with Krillin(Kuririn) was very ...meh... I think this is a pretty decent effect representing his power.
