It's great that these will be out in the spring and all, but considering like half of Targets don't even carry NECA product and the ones that do get maybe 2 cases in that sell out in seconds, with one case going to scalpers for re-sale at twice the already not inexpensive MSRP and the other case to a singular lottery winner, the excited for these can get kind of blunted by the disappointing reality of what it will take just to try to own them.

Maybe if the NECA guys pulled the heads out of their asses, they would at least recognize all the distribution issues with this more than subpair retailer, but truth is they don't even care.
You can talk to me all about licenses and whatnot, but I am pretty sure they must have at least some muscle to influence on distribution and sells at Target.
How many stores actually got the current wave? Like 10?

Daaaaamn, everybody is having trouble like me...I called 20 targets a day, I visited, on and on, nothin'.
I feel bad calling those targets asking about the same thing all the time, I don't know, maybe that's weird.

In Necas defense, maybe Nick didn't help develop the infrastructure for this demand.
Chances are, deals are getting made for bigger manufacturing facilities right now.

I bit the bullet and bought online :/ Down the line it will probably be worth it. The line is pushing forward with new stuff and I'm too afraid to let it pass me by. WAVE 3 looks AMAZING!!!!! There's nothing else that needs saying. Do it Neca, ya, make'em, andale.

I found my bebop & rocksteady day one, also bought one for a friend. Since, I’ve seen the set 9 times, including evening of Black Friday. The distribution is decent, it’s just a huge demand item, and NECA has ALWAYS supplied items at lest than demand, so they aren’t stuck with credits to retailers or limitations to purchases. Does it suck for fans? Yup. Does it make business sense? Definitely.

Out of curiosity, which are state are in?

The dark lines are way too heavy on these- it's especially noticeable on April, with nothing done to bring out the details of her face, and those thick, dark black lines on her jumpsuit.

I'm good with it. Same "issue" with Comics April, but in hand, it looks a lot better.

I think it works much better for the comics figures though, and the arcade game figures, since it's more consistent with the source material. It's just too much on the animated ones. Don't get me wrong, the Leatherhead 2-pack is a must-buy, and I'll probably buy the other 2 if I find them at Target, but it just looks off to me. Maybe if they used some light tan to bring out the detail in April's face more, and used more of a dark, mustard-y yellow on her jumpsuit, it would look better. It looks a lot better on the other figs, but is still more heavy-handed than it should be.

So, I created a custom helmet for NECA’s Rocksteady, so that he would look more like his season 1 appearance.
