Still nothing new at Target.

I Bought the new Flasher Gremlin at my Target today. First time seeing him. They also had Both new SOS Godzilla and Biolante Godzilla, 4 each, But no sign of Turtles at my "Home" store.

UPDATE: Didn't find anything that morning....I went back to the targets again around 3pm PST time because I knew from previous hunts they said Fedex usually arrives in the morning or afternoon...

3 Leatherheads and slash packs. In a giant brown box with NECA brand packaging tape next to the electronics. I didn't see it at first. I was asking an employee if it was in stock and showing him the DCPI number. He said no, I asked him if in the back, he emphatically said No it's not here sorry man. He was super nice but that was going to be it. All of a sudden an employee at the electronics counter over heard him and asked what I was looking for and I said Neca turtles. He said, "oh Neca, they are right here and pointed to the ground. I looked down, he opened the big box, a bunch of Neca stuff in there, 3 turtle pack clearly there. In shock I managed to ask for one. I asked if they had a limit per customer, he said no, I bought two and left the third for someone else.

LONG STORY SHORT IF YOU LIVE IN LALA LAND. Check this target: 10820 Jefferson Blvd, Culver City, CA 90230. There was one more not even on the shelf yet at 3 oclock. I wish I posted this earlier but so busy. I went to the other Target near there because I was like why not check since I had come that far. Nothing there. Or at least the employee said there wasn't and wouldn't check the back....I explained what literally just happened like I have explained that situation every time pretty much, he was like nope, done checking and walked off..I should have checked more so I could tell people if it was really there...damn. I was still in shock. Shell shocked.

AGAIN, another, "no it's not here 100%, then bam...." I really don't want to hassle the employees but it's a little hard not too when this has happened before again and again.
I don't know what to think about all this. I'd like to say it's giving me hope for more turtle availability. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself. But I gotta thank Neca right now for sending something.

If I found it here I'm thinking everybody else is going to have really good luck. I hope everybody finds one!!!!!!!!!

I also asked employees this morning if they could check if they had ever gotten the Neca tmnt stuff and one target said they had got 2 casey jones pack about a week and a half after that release date. I was thinking the only way I would see Slash and Leather was to check twice a day for two weeks...which was impossible. Again, not sure what to think or feel. I want to be happy but I'd feel a lot better if I knew everybody got one first....I still need all the other tmnt stuff so it's a start.

Slash and Leatherhead went up today. Managed to snag one, finally I lucked out

Finally saw a NECA restock at Target this morning. Still no Alien 40th anniversary exclusives (which I'm still pissed about). I've never seen an alpha predator either. They did stock laser shot predator for some reason, I thought that was odd, didn't he come out almost a year ago?

I did see empty shelf spaces with tags for two of the TMNT cartoon exclusives, somebody must have already bought them all. If I was a TMNT collector I would have gave up. What they did have was a ton (at least 6 or 7) of the SDCC turtles set. That really surprised me considering the price and how at this store your lucky if they they stock more than 2 or 3 of any regular figures at a time. I wish I knew who I could ask about how they determine what gets stocked there, I've never run into anyone stocking the shelves.

Speaking of Target, I also saw empty shelves with tags for the 6" G.I.Joe line. I'm not collecting this line as I don't like the design choices, but I still wanted to see them in person and there has been no trace. Did Hasbro really underproduce them or something? Walmart has had only an empty endcap display. What a joke. Yet I see hasbro ghostbusters piling up at both stores.

What is the best way to try and catch Slash? I missed it on release date, I haven't seen any at my Target, and the Target app doesn't have the button to alert me when there is a restock.

My local stores haven’t gotten their slash & leatherhead sets yet. Just Casey Jones and. Foot soldier. Seems Neca is just doing their usual random distribution.

I have been to 5 Targets several times each over the last month+. I have seen exactly zero Neca TMNT. Wasn't the release date for April yesterday? Did anyone find one in person or online?

Honestly, I think the only real way to get them without supporting scalpers is ordering them from foreign stores. I can't find any at Walmart or Target. You can't track them because they use NECA numbers, so other items share the same numbers. NECA representatives are responsible for ordering and stocking them as well and they aren't on any reliable schedule.

Those of you who haven't been able to find the movie Casey and Raph 2 pack, or missed out on the Super Shredder, Neca is now offering a one week window to preorder them the way they did Tokka and Rahzar on their website. Window closes on 8/28 at 11am EST...so jump on it while you can!

Shipping is still a bit much...but whatever. Saves the gas, headache and wasted time of trekking store to store only to come up empty handed.

Really hoping this is a model Neca keeps going forward. Just hoping I can run into Toon April so I can be done with that line for now (until Toon Splinter and Krang drops...of course.)

I found a quick teaser on twitter...because you know Target ain't sending email alerts. Really wish I caught that :(

Wow, they didn't send out an email or post about it anywhere that I can find. They even seemed to have at least flattened their shipping rates. Why was I paying such ridiculously high shipping for the last ones?

At least they seem to be hearing all the criticism and slowly making improvements.
