London After Midnight is a great idea. I hope they also do a Son of Frankenstein Karloff and Lon Chaney Jr. Mummy!

Very awesome that they are doing Chaney's London After Midnight character. Gives me hope that NECA is going to continue branching way beyond the most popular Universal Monsters figures for their horror line. Nosferatu would be another great one for them to do since I'm not impressed with the new Super 7 version.

Now if we could finally get some kind of tease of the Hammer Horror figures. The license was announced TWO years ago and STILL nothing shown from NECA. I think the last report was a tweet months ago saying they were finally sculpting some, so hopefully we get a tease before the end of this month.

I just hope it isn't Lee Dracula. He was hands down the most boring monster in Hammer's horror lineup. Not to mention his movie was mediocre.

Well at the very least for NECA's Hammer Horror line (if it EVER comes out) I want Lee's Dracula, Lee's Mummy, Peter Cushing's Dr. Frankenstein, and Peter Cushing's Van Helsing. Anything else beyond that is just a bonus.

I'm still dreading this will end up a stupid 8" Mego style line like some of the figures they've done, rather than an all plastic 7" scale line that fits in with ther Universal Monsters line.

Well, too bad for you he's also the most iconic and well known of the Hammer characters. Its pretty likely they'd start off with him.

Wonder if we will see any of the Hammer actresses characters done. Veronica Carlson passed away recently. It would be nice to see her from 'Dracula Has Risen From the Grave' or 'Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed' as a tribute.

If that's true, that's sad because the Gorgon, Lee's Frankenstein Monster, Lee's Kharis, and Reed's Werewolf are vastly superior to Lee's Dracula. Lee's Dracula never even transformed into a bat or wolf once. Hell, he barely didn't anything truly supernatural.

I would totally be down for Cushing's Dr Frankenstein. Hell, do a Curse of Frankenstein 2 pack with Victor and the monster.

So yeah, Curse of Frankenstein is my favorite Hammer film on top of being my favorite adaptation of Shelley's novel. A shame there has never been a truly accurate movie adaptation to Shelley's story as even that Kenneth Branaugh crap was just that, crap.

I wish they would have shown the backdrop.

I wonder who Macbeth will come with closed wings for. Angela has Demona's, right?

I thought Xanatos included Demona's?

Dr Kain 10-31-2022 06:30 AM

Hopefully tonight they show off something truly gripping.

One final day to give us some kind of tease for Hammer Horror, hopefully.

deecee4 10-31-2022 05:29 PM

Nope, no Hammer stuff. Would've thought with Randy's tweet back in July of them "being sculpted now" there wouldve been at least a tease for their October reverals. Very strange. Ah well, expectations quelled till toyfair, i suppose.

The version I was waiting for! I may buy two, one for the street walking scenes and the other with just the suit. Wonder if they will at least do a van Helsing or Renfield for this line?

NECA has a habit of NEVER doing side characters from a license, so odds are no.

And zero Hammer or Friday the 13th reveals. Bummer.

Mordachi 11-01-2022 06:51 PM

So they really aren't making anymore Halloween? Not even a Halloween Ends?

Did you see Halloween Ends? There's not really much for them to do from that.

I guess part of me was hoping for a Laurie since she is in an attire similar to what she had in 78 that I could customize.
I'm also sad we didn't get a flashback Mocheal from Kills.
