Agreed! Exciting that Hiya will be tackling SNW but here in the U.K. I'm still waiting for the first wave of the 2009 figures, apparently stock is now due in January.

They REALLY need to give us Uhura and I definitely want the Spock in EV suit that they had a prototype of.

Just a shame Hiya aren't expanding behind the scenes so they can ramp up production, 3 figures in a wave and huge delays isn't great and if Nacelle succeed and manage to deliver 10 figures a wave and 2 waves a year Hiya might be left in the dust haha.

I do love a lot of Hiya's products though (there Godzilla/Kong stuff and Rambo exquisite supers are amazing) and would like them to succeed with Trek alongside Nacelle's offerings.

After reading that these had already hit the UK last month, I got a little nervous that they were ever going to hit the US. They're listed as Previews Exclusives but some started popping up in stock at Entertainment Earth and Amazon. Kirk arrived yesterday and Spock is scheduled from EE for next Wednesday. I ordered Scotty, Keenser, and Spock Prime from Diamond through my LCS but they're MONTHS behind schedule.

I'm impressed by the direction they've decided to take with SNW Captain Pike. It indicates that, maybe, HIYA have actually listened to feedback on improving the articulation standards of their Trek figures. However, the issue that remains unresolved is the awful paint apps. I lament the fact that HIYA insists on having paint on 90% of the figure instead of casting the parts in the appropriate color plastic. This would make such a difference, especially in terms of actor likenesses, where any likeness is frequently lost due to thick chalky paint.

Hiya's price for the 1:12-6 inch figures are crazy. They should be $39.99. Not close to $100. They're small Judge Dredd figures are excellent and i'm sure the larger ones are too but the larger figures in general have an asinine price. They'd sell more if the price were half of what it is.

LAst I saw of this new heat ray version its was displayed at a con with sign saying - waiting for approval from Toho . Hope the heat ray 2014 Godzilla was given the ok also.CAnt wait to see what else Hiya comes up with for basic+ line .Keep The kaiju Coming.
