That's why I went ahead and ordered my set when they were up on TRU.com . With the first series being somewhat lackluster and overordered to boot, I thought it might be a while before these actually hit the shelves. TRU most likely has an auto order program at the distribution center that will only refill items as they sell through to minimize in store inventory backstock.

Any of you guys who work there care to enlighten if you can?

I don't know the intricacies of the process. I just know the store manager orders the product for the store. Our store manager....isn't the brightest. And I don't like TRU's system anyways.

We've been sitting on the same EXACT Joe figures that came in before the grand opening, which was in October. SAME EXACT ones. We haven't gotten any new cases....nothing...since then. TRU needs to get a system that can differentiate between old crap and newer assortments. That way we can get them in even though we haven't sold through the old crap yet. We're also still sitting on the old Wave 1 vehicles that came in before the opening, and the same comic packs....

The same goes for Transformers Universe deluxe figures at our store. We're still selling through our initial shipments from before the grand opening. We still have a lot on the pegs, and we have like 8 million cases in the back. We're NEVER going to see anything new until the new year when the SKN numbers probably change.

Our store gets in a WHOLE pallet's worth of some American Idol game.....and this is a 4-foot pallet....and no Joes.....no vehicles...no nothing for Joes except Combat Heroes and TRU 5-packs. I just don't get it.

So, no...no enlightening coming from me. I'm just as lost as you are about the way TRU runs things.

Maybe it is TRU who is lost, not you, man.

Frustrating as hell for all of us, though.

My TRU seems to replenish the older stuff as well.

I haven't seen hode nor hair of these yet and I really want them. Hopefully the glut of Wave 1 doesn't prevent most of us from getting these.

Glad my friend called me when he saw them or otherwise I would not own them. Have only seen them twice.

I think the reason is because they want to keep it exclusive to the first release. If they re-released it, while nice for the fans, would cheapen the original (imo),

I wonder what the story is, i was really looking foward to the Stinger and the Flak Cannon, specifically to get outback.

Hopefully they are just delaying them, I still see wave 1 everywhere. Don't know if that is the case, hope to find out more soon.

The marketing team are making them more of a 1st quarter 09 release. And are also mixing up cases for more diversity.

I just spoke to a Hasbro Marketing Rep who's card I got while she was at a wal-mart.

They are delayed and it's not a bad "sign" it's part of their push to produce more of the modern era toyline and release them quicker and in better stock.

"The cases will be more plentiful for this wave, as will figures to come up to and after the movie," were her exact words.

I guess they lost the rights to Sky Hawk and Water Moccasin. Still, that "Sting Raider" looks awesome.

I was thinking the same thing myself, they did need to look at things and adjust supply and demand with this line.

And pushing them back a little is good news, maybe by the time my I get my Tax return, they will be coming up.

I know with all the stuff hitting now, my wallet needs a rest.

I am with Doug on that one. That being said, If I find a few Tankers and Arkers get first crack, at cost.
