I'd forgotten Skids, too. I only remembered him when I saw him on the list. Though I went over your list five times to make sure I wasn't just missing Tracks on it.

Transformers being at this price for retail is really going to dampen the hunt...

The prices are so beyond dissapointing. In fact, just about everything Hasbro's done in recent years is behind the times, and dissapointing.
Dark of the Moon offered the best opportunity in years to completely redesign the line from the ground up, to accomidate the new trends of smaller scales to match the rising prices. Instead of getting rid of the scouts (Again, UGH!), they needed to embrace them the way they did back in the Beast era, Energon, and Cybertron. They needed to make the scouts the focal point of the line. Make it the "new" deluxe, by putting all the normal deluxe type characters in as scouts. Movie Bumblebee, Barricade, G1 Prowl, Starscream. Scale back about 75-85% on the deluxes, and focus the "bigger" guys and stars there. Movie Ironhide and Ratchet, and even the obligatory Bumblebees and primes. Mostly use it as the new mega or voyager, even. Save Voyagers for even larger and less common guys, and superstars, like Movie Prime and Megatron (Basically, aside from some scaling back, pretty good there. This would also make the Legends/Legions more viable as parts of a full collection, and more interactive with the mainline. (IE, Legends Trailbreaker wouldn't look completely rediculous next to a lineup of scouts, the way he does to a lineup of deluxes) And up to DotM, we've gotten a pretty sizable chunk of G1/G2 updated in classis. So a new turning point and a new focus wouldn't completely alienate and piss off the longterm classics collectors the way it may have two years ago. |

that.....is unreal. And i thought toysrus was too much at $13. This is at target right? |
|
those target prices are not helping at all,$15 for a deluxe from $10,thats a $5 increase, laughable at best.

Prime Soundwave is awesome!
|
Soundwave is one of the few Prime toys I actually want.
He's also the only version of Soundwave (character wise) that I genuinely like, too. |
Ok sorry if its been explained before, but me and my brither want to start on transformers, but I am very confused on to where to start, seeing as there are multiple different lines I.e generations, RID and all that.
So my question is where would I start, assuming I only want can I say ? Comic based? Or cartoon based? Sorry I'm very new at Transformers. But I have NO interest in movie line like DotM or RotF, I'm interested in like the war for cybertron type or the classic one. Any ideas? And if so are they still available? Or do I gotta trade in my arm. Also I'm a big fan of the dinobots, so was wondering if they have rereleased them? Or is it the old ones I must get, also as far as articulation goes? Is it full motion with the arms and legs for the old one? Or just basic move arm up and down type? Sorry again for being such a "noob" lol but yea any kind of insight would help me a lot, instead of me just standnin in the toy line dumbfounded, or searching online with no results. Plz and thank you. ;) |
