Someone posted it up a link for it on ebay. I don't think there has been an actual sighting photo. Wouldn't matter. Variants like that never seem to make it to Houston :(

Lol. I have never seen the Dark Galactus or the X-Men variant in Houston. I had to get my X-Men one from San Diego when I was there fro SDCC. With the great luck I had They had one at the TRU there. :) still no Dark Galactus thou :(

Wal-Marts in NJ seem to be getting plenty of these, but I've yet to see X Force. A bunch of the other 2, though.

bmorr 08-30-2011 01:44 PM

yahooo! Massachusetts finally got the three packs. finally caved on getting the x force pack because of the upcoming X-23 in the team colors. bought the other two a month or so back. At least we finally have a modern wolverine costume.

DarkestKnight 08-30-2011 01:47 PM

I haven't seen any of these yet, but I'm glad this version is coming out, I hope the single pack Spidey isn't too far behind either.

MegsTriggerMan 08-30-2011 02:22 PM

I have passed on the 3 packs twice now ... but with the X23 I too am rethinking the Xforce pack ...

Isnt the Future Foundation pack a running change and not a variant?

its a variant only because they didnt change the box art. Theyre just recolors. I was taking a closer look at it from the ebay thread, and the thing looks strangely different. By the looks of the costume, youll notice a black line going along the circumference of the thigh. A swivel joint there perhaps? Then again a line is just a line.

That's correct. Although I can't remember when it's supposed to be coming out. I want the X-Force set solely for the Deadpool... Don't know if it's worth it though.

I guess definition-wise they are... But otherwise they aren't going to be rare, as variant tends to connote.

My understanding is that Dark Galactus was only available through online retailers. An "online exclusive" if you will.
